Salesman aka Jerk! I did not leave with the car I originally showed interest in when I spoke with Tony at Oxmoor Hyundai. He was my first and original contact from the m I did not leave with the car I originally showed interest in when I spoke with Tony at Oxmoor Hyundai. He was my first and original contact from the moment I showed interest through their website. I told him that I was specifically interested in two accents they had at a great deal for that I had seen on their website and he said he would look into the status of their availability. He said that if something went wrong, i.e. they had already been sold before 430, that he would call me back and let me know. I arrived at Oxmoor Hyundai and Tony had told me upon my arrival that the two cars I was interested in were not available and one had been in an accident. His salesman was too pushy about a Chevy Cruze they had available and I didn't want, he ran my credit the first time without telling me, and didn't tell me what my terms for the brand new 2016 elantra I ended up buying. They tried to sell me the brand new '16 Elantra saying that there were no other years of the Elantra on their lot (even though I had seen one with my own eyes when I was test driving the Cruze). That same salesman was not a friendly guy in general and I will never let them treat me like that ever again. It was my first time buying a car from a dealership and they took advantage of me. I love my Elantra but I was nowhere near pleased with the salesman. Paul, the guy in finance, on the other hand, was very friendly and if he were my salesman instead of the one I actually had I would have been an all-around happy girl. Now my bank account will be suffering for 6 years because no one told me what my terms were until last second. I of course take partial credit for what happened but now I know what to do and what not to do. More

I wasn't confident when coming here, afraid I couldn't afford anything they offer and that I was too upside down in my current car to make a deal. Brad said many times "don't worry about that, I'll take care of it." He was able to get me out of a car worth $2000 where the loan was sitting at $6900 with no problems at all. Very grateful for the help. More

Be Diligent, Fair and Calm To get what you are promised. Regardless of the dealership I have learned the salesperson may show you the vehicle but will never be the closer of your deal. If it werent for Paul at Oxmoor Hyundai I would have left. My salesperson was condescending, knew very little about the vehicle and failed to complete the paperwork for new tags and tbe referral reward. He actually left expired tags on the vehicle after the purchase and said it was ok to do that. This salesperson no longer works there. Paul has been great to resolve all issues ASAP. Joe was another salesperson extremely knowledgable, & a super guy to work with. We call him "turtle" his nickname because he feels like family instantly. More

Over-The-Top customer experience!!! 100% Integrity I have never had a better car buying experience in my entire life. I had been searching for about 3 months to find a Hyundai Genesis R-Spec, and I fo I have never had a better car buying experience in my entire life. I had been searching for about 3 months to find a Hyundai Genesis R-Spec, and I found two in the area. One was at Oxmoor Hyundai and the other at Craig and Landreth in Indiana. Basically the cars were identical with only 10K miles difference on the odometer. The biggest difference was price. Oxmoor had the R-spec listed for 26K, and Landreth had theirs at 29K. With the certified warranty, price and quality of vehicle, the R-spec at Oxmoor Hyundai was clearly the right choice. I decided to go see the car, but had a bit of anxiety with dealing with any salesman in general. When I walked in the door I was greeted by Tom Tichenor. Within minutes, I realized that Tom is a straight foward, no bull%$#! kind of guy. This is the kind of person I need to be speaking with! Tom has an awesome ability in making the customer feel extremely important; without blowing smoke up their A$$. Tom was also very knowledgeable of the vehicle and was able to demonstrate each and every detail as needed. Needless to say, I am the proud owner of a 2012 Hyundai Genesis R-spec, and it is the best car I have ever purchased. Today, 1 week after my purchase, I notice that the washer fluid reservoir was leaking. I purchased the car used with a certified warranty, BUT I was still worried that I was going to have to pay to get the reservoir fixed. This is what many businesses have brought us to .....always thinking there is going to be a problem. But not at Oxmoor Hyundai. I called Tom and right away he made me feel completely comfortable in knowing that any issue with the reservoir was covered 100%. Tom transferred me to the service department, and the service department asked that I bring it in immediately...TODAY!. Unbelievable. That's not all! I drove to the dealership (my first service visit), and there is an employee at the entrance of the establishment standing in the cold (19 degrees), directing me to where I need to go. I drove around to the service department and a large garage door is opened revealing an extremely clean and neat service bay area (with white and black checkered tiles!). Oxmoor Hyundai has certainly refined the term "Customer Service". Within minutes I was done with all necessary paperwork in the service bay and was asked to go see Tom. Tom was waiting for me and already had the Loaner Car waiting out front.....running and warmed up inside.......heated seat on and warm......and the radio was tuned to the same channel that I left my R-spec on. Now that is customer service! That's not all! Within minutes I was out the door in my Loaner Car and getting ready to exit the establishment. And, the same guy (at the entrance) that initially gave instructions on how to find the service bay asks me "which way are you going, left or right?". I said "I'm turning right". He walks out onto Shelbyville Road (very busy road), and stops ALL lanes of traffic to allow me to exit safely from the establishment. Unbelievable experience at all levels of service. Tom Tichenor is the best salesman I've ever dealt with, and his skills with dealing with customers is phenominal. Excellent job to everyone! Thank you for this experience. Douglas Anderson More
