Made our vehicle purchase a pleasant and carefree experience We were in the market for a new vehicle to accommodate my entire family of 6 so I decided to reach out to Ourisman Honda of Laurel for 2 reasons at th We were in the market for a new vehicle to accommodate my entire family of 6 so I decided to reach out to Ourisman Honda of Laurel for 2 reasons at that time: 1) Honda's reputation for reliable vehicles, and 2) the location of the dealership was close to my job. Well, the experience was the most carefree transaction I have had when purchasing a vehicle, so you can add more reasons to that list after the fact! First of all, Mr. Mfon definitely puts customers first, point blank! I have had experiences in the past where Salespeople at dealerships were more concerned with selling me the vehicle at the highest price possible, to maximize their profit. This was definitely not the case with Mr. Mfon and Ourisman Honda. He was more concerned with making sure the vehicle fit my needs, yep, he actually wanted to understand what brought me in that day and began to show me how the various vehicle options fit our needs, and some others that would enhance our driving/riding experience. When it came to the financial aspect, he was willing to work with the budget my family allocated for this investment, there was no back-and-forth, he simply let me know "we will take care of you", and that was truly the case. Based on my experience that day, I have found my go-to dealership for purchases and service. Thank you Mfon for your help, and to the entire staff that helped complete the transaction. I will be seeing you all soon! More
Anthony is a pleasure to work with I have purchased 2 vehicles from Anthony and had good experiences both times. No hard sales or putting folks in vehicles that won't be good for them. One of the most professional, knowledgeable, courteous individuals that has ever been my pleasure to meet! Making my decisions on what model vehicle (and options) to purchase was effortless. I would also add practicality too...to Mr. Mfon's resume. In additional to all the information Mr. Mfon provided...he also (I did not know this at the time) came in on his day off to take care of me when I requested a last minute change to our previous plan. I honestly give it a lot of thought before I impact someone in this way and often they deserve it if I have to take the time out of my day to inform others of my displeasure. I don't like to take my time doing this however my experience with Earl Errera at Ourisman Honda was so memorable that it must be noted. His brash nature and confrontational style in working with customers should be addressed by upper management as he comes off very cockey and rude when asked questions that he seems to take too personally when a customer is simply trying to purchase a vehicle and would like to know why he was not telling the truth when asked if the price included freight or extra packages on the cost of the vehicle prior to my arrival. I spoke with Earl some time ago from an internet price quote I was given and he had specified the price included certain fees and when I arrived at the dealership, those fees appeared to have not been added. I drove quite a distance expecting his honesty to be upheld however, I was quickly let down after a hour long drive from my home. Well, in my line of work as a physician I prefer to be honest with my patients as it truly is the right process to help others and do the right thing. However in Mr Errera's case, he was clearly dishonest with me about specific fees after my clarification of the final price of the vehicle over the phone prior to my arrival. I am a good person and expect others to be cordial and honest with me when I am polite and considerate of them. As an oncologist, I help people all day long with life issues and have very little time for silly, dishonesty. So I clarified the price three times, it was at the end of the month and my car of choice was an Accord EXL v6 with a total verbal quote of an on the road price with no extra fees. Basically the total that I would end up financing or writing a check for to take it back home for my wife as a birthday surprise. Well, it turned out nothing like he promised; it was much higher (over $835.00 higher) and I lost two hours of my day, ruined my wife's birthday AND her surprise I had worked so hard to save for as she too is suffering from cancer and I wanted to do something very deserving for her. So that is why I am taking the time to write about this issue. It has to do moreso with the morals of an individual as an honest person in general and how dishonestly can greatly impact someone's life and others they may not be aware of. I forgive Mr Errera for his behavior and dishonestly however it was very hurtful and not needed in order to attempt to earn my business. If he had been honest about the "on the road pricing" for the exact vehicle of which I even provided him the vin number from the vehicle I saw the day they were closed while I was on the lot looking so there was no mistaking pricing; I would have most likely paid more if he could have honestly provided a reasonable explaination of his miscalculations however, he could NOT do so and he even came across and very cockey and rude when I had to confront him on paper. I suppose he felt cornered in his own dishonestly and was not happy speaking about it on the showroom floor as other customers were looking at him while he raised his voice and became beleigerant and defensive after I calmly expressed how dishonest it was for him to have me drive all this way to "switch" me. I even explained over the phone that this day was my wife's birthday and it was for her and how important it was that all the figures where correct prior to my visit. Well, unfortunately that is why I am taking my valuable time to write this as I was hurt badly by sincere dishonestly with zero reasonable explaination for the price change as it was not an error but a purposeful process to get me to the dealership in what appeared to be a hopeful attempt to have me pay much more than we agreed to prior to my visit. I am deeply saddened by Mr Erreras behavior and he really needs to understand how his behavior impacted other lives and a how a very special day for my spouse was ruined. As I said before; I forgive Mr Errera, however, it is important for others to know of his practices so not to experience what I had to go through. More
Bad car service I took my car for oil change , after I drove it for about 5K my engine start making crank noise and its Honda accord 2014 with 50k miles only, I check I took my car for oil change , after I drove it for about 5K my engine start making crank noise and its Honda accord 2014 with 50k miles only, I checked the oil and it was empty I realized that they didn't put oil when they drained it, I took it back to them and told them i wana be present when they check the car , they took the car and they didn't call me , after an hour i told them i want my car back to take it to different dealer to look at it, when i took it to another dealer they checked the oil and they told me an oil was added for only two quarts , I will never take my car back to this dealer again, me and my wife both have Honda we are going to sell them and get German cars because all German car dealer service are excellent . We made some inquiries online and immediately got a call from Mr. Mfon at Ourisman, which is really close to us. We decided to come in for a test drive on Saturday, November 12th and meet with Mr. Mfon. He had us so at ease, there was no question we were going to buy from him. It was an exceedingly smooth process, we were in and out of there within 4 hours. Even though, our color preference was not located at Laurel, Mr. Mfon had someone go pick it up from Annapolis, delivered it, our trade in appraised and cleaned out and the Pilot set up for us in a matter of 4 hours. We will definitely refer our friends and family members to him in the future. It was a very pleasant experience. More
Chuka Elue FAR EXCEEDED my expectations! I'm 77, I've bought a lot of cars, I've dealt with a lot of sales staff. Mr. Elue was far more empathetic, energetic, and thorough than any of them. I was looking for a Honda Ridgeline, and I had a LOT of questions! He answered almost all of them immediately, and on at least one occasion had no hesitation about going to another salesman for a complete answer. This is unusual... We settled on a vehicle (2018 RTL-E) but it HAD TO BE sliver. He was patient... They put in the order, and several weeks went by. Mr. Elue as always kind when I called to see if the truck had arrived. I called too often! When the truck arrived, and I arrived to look at it, Mr. Elue told me he'd spend some time going over the vehicle that morning, to make sure it was OK. Who could ever ask for more? More
