purchased a vehicle from that dealership and they screwed me over, they sold a used car which is a year old for the price of a brand new one. My 19 year old went there to buy a car, stationed there in the Air Force.. the used vehicle was listed online at $8500 but his final sales paperwork was at $10,000. They took advantage of him saying there in the Air Force.. the used vehicle was listed online at $8500 but his final sales paperwork was at $10,000. They took advantage of him saying there was a fee that had to be added to the sales price a “pre delivery inspection fee” that is not disclosed on any of his paperwork! It’s unfortunate for someone to take advantage of a young man, new to the service, not earning that much money, and hoodwink him like that. This is a dishonest sales tactic! Do not buy a used car from here. They are not honest. The car I bought was put through an inspection at a Laurel station, yet broke down 2 days after the 1 month. Great Buying Experience With Sales Person I've been buying cars since 1990 and have always looked at Volkswagons but never bought one. The reason had more to do with the sales people than the I've been buying cars since 1990 and have always looked at Volkswagons but never bought one. The reason had more to do with the sales people than the cars. Even recently my wife and I were looking to purchase a Tiguan from a local dealership and ended up walking out after waiting for our sales person to reappear. We returned home and I immediately looked on line for another VW dealership and found Ourisman in Laurel. Ourisman had a Tiguan that was the right color, and trim in stock. I clicked the "I'm Interested" button and within minutes I received a call from a sales person, Shane. We made an appointment and Shane had the car waiting out front. We bought the Tiguan for a very fair deal. Throughout the purchase, Shane was very responsive. There were some holdups getting to the finance office and having the car prep'd and Shane was very active in moving things along. Even after the purchase, Shane has been responsive. Our Tiguan came with a defect in the finish on one wheel. Shane is working with their folks to make it right. In this climate of COVID-19, I want to also add that the people at Ourisman VW were very careful about using hand sanitizer and wearing masks and gloves when needed. More
