Horrible Sales experience. I was interested in a VW Golf Alltrack. Salesman kept repeating as a parrot that I would get the best deal and the car of my choice. Turned out they commandeered my car to be used in a trade in and gave me a loaner until the car that I wanted became available. They promised me the colors and model I requested and instead found several vehicles without the color scheme requested. In the meantime, I found out that a dealer in Alexandra had the exact car I wanted for $7,000 less. Therefore I decided to get my car returned with the license plates. This was frowned about so I tricked my salesman in returning my car until the requested VW came in. Shortly after I left I received threatening calls that the dealer would be contacting the authorities to arrest me if I did not return my car. Can anyone’s car purchasing experience beat that? More
Saturday Oil Change with no appointment under 1 hour wait!!! I took my chances popping up with no appointment for an oil change and I was prompted greeted with a warm welcoming smile by Mr. Gus, I explained that I did not have an appointment but needed an oil change, Mr. Gus said no problem, then he asked me how soon did I needed the car back and if I needed transportation? I said would be nice if I could have it done within 3 hours and he replied with "we can have it done in an hour" so I said great! thank you and decided to wait for my car. My car was completed within an hour (as promised) complimentary car wash was done as well. The waiting area is really nice with complementary refreshments, various magazines to read, big screen TV and free WiFi time went by really fast. Thank you Gus!!! More

Obviously not a VW dealership, and I will say I wish my dealership had the same professionalism and pose that Allen and the whole VW staff(sales/service) have everyday. To see a dealership work in harmony and not avoiding anything, good or bad, is how a dealership should work(a.k.a A well oiled machine) top dealership I have ever known!! I brought my 2017 Golf TSI in recently for an issues with it's transmission. My appointment was very early and I happened to come half hour earlier and Allen met with me with enthusiasm and chipper attitude. It looked like he enjoyed his job immensely and it really showed. We went over the details of the issues and warranty and about the loaner vehicle. Allen told me he would reach out to me later that day with any updates. Later in the day he called me twice letting me know that they hadn't found anything yet, and they were going to keep overnight and take another look in the morning. The next day, Allen calls me letting me know that the technician located the problem and they were going to fix it and it should be ready by the end of the day. Later, he called back saying the car was ready for pick up, and I explained to him I would not be able to come by 7p but later and he arranged for a late pick up and told me what I needed to do when I got there. Allen was extremely professional and on top of everything with my car. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone. I had also brought in my car before for its regular yearly service, and it was not Allen per say that helped me, but still it was a great customer experience. More

From the bait and switch to trying to win Buying a car can be one of the most stressful and aggravating experiences people endure in their lifetimes. From the bait and switch to trying to win a customer over with psychology techniques, it can really leave you worn out. But FEAR NOT!!! That was not the case at Ourisman of Rockville. We worked with Cortley Chu and he was such a breath of fresh air because he actually LISTENS to the customer. My partner and I were up front about what we wanted out of the experience and instead of being fed lines and hoopla that wastes time, Cortley took the wheel based on our input. This is important to note because so many car salespeople seem to tune out what the customer is saying and go about their own methodology. Good customer service is about listening to your customer and following their lead, not following your sales script and routine. We did not feel hassled, rushed, swindled, stressed or unheard. Everyone we dealt with at this dealership was outstanding. Billy the manager checked in with us to make sure we were pleased and well taken care of and Aaron the finance guy got us through the numbers process with ease and efficiency. We had done our research and also visited other dealerships in the MD area prior to Ourisman. I will not mention the other dealerships because the experience was a lot of the negative that I mentioned above, and besides...Don't waste your time going anywhere else when you can actually have a PLEASANT and FUN time procuring a vehicle. We would totally purchase here again and recommend this dealership without question. Thanks Cortley, Billy and Aaron for breaking free from the smarmy, stressful dealership stereotype. Fast Friendly Service at a price I can afford! I came in for a tire pressure check and Jesus notice that one of my wipers blade, was streaking (which is something that I knew, but kept putting off) I came in for a tire pressure check and Jesus notice that one of my wipers blade, was streaking (which is something that I knew, but kept putting off), Jesus quoted me replacement. I accepted and right on the spot, Jesus replaced the faulty arm and gave me the second arm (wiper blade) for me to bring it, when the other wiper blade goes bad, allowing me to get the most use out of my wiper blades! He even gave me a 40 second tutorial on how easy (truly) it is to replace it my self (if I wanted to)!. But Jesus, also offered the option to bring the wiper blade with me, when the time comes to replace it and I'm not comfortable, replacing it my self and as a courtesy, they would gladly swap it for me. Thank you Jesus! More

My service consultant on this occasion and on several occasions recently was Jesus Santanilla. I found Jesus to be alway very courteous and efficient, always getting back to me when promised to let me know the status of the work being done. I would recommend him without hesitation and trust he will be there to guide and assist me the next time I bring one of my cars into the VW/Mazda dealership. I will certainly request his assistance. He and the dealership, in my opinion, deserve a 5-star rating. More
