My experience at Ourisman VW of Rockville was HORRIBLE! I went in because I kept getting offers from them to buy my Atlas. I just wanted to talk. I was literally pounced on at the door before I could even I went in because I kept getting offers from them to buy my Atlas. I just wanted to talk. I was literally pounced on at the door before I could even ask my questions. I had a BRAND NEW (second day at VW) sales guy - he was just doing his job, but clearly didn’t know how to read his audience bc I am not the person that wants to be cornered and I very much felt that way. I told him OVER AND OVER I just wanted to run some numbers but wasn’t prepared to buy at this moment. I told him and his manager my magic number multiple times to get me in a new car. I left after I got my appraisal and some numbers, as I told them the numbers they presented were still too high. I was there for 2 hours just trying to get my car appraised btw. When I got home I called the Manager - it was his 4th day. No one I spoke with knew a single thing about VW - in fact I was the most knowledgeable having owned only VWs for the past 11 years. The Manager said he’d call me back after I asked him what more could be done to get me close to my magic number. He had the sales guy call back, who I had a very hard time understanding over the phone. I asked for the manager to call me back. So he did and he quoted me just below my magic number. I said DEAL - I’m coming back in now. I got there within 15 mins. I then sat and waited for 2 hours signing a couple papers, but just sat and waited and waited and waited for a finance person to be available. During this time I saw SO many people just “hanging out”. As a Director of Ops for a multi-million dollar company and over 200 employees I was appalled at the lack of efficiency and knowledge from every person. Then, I FINALLY get in to the finance office and I just make a joke asking the guy how many people walk out bc they thought one number but it turned out to be another? He laughed and said rarely does that happen but also asked - what did they tell you? So I told him and he looked confused and said they have some work to do on their end. I’ll be back. I also had the info written down from my convo at home and my husband was on speaker and heard the number. The manager then runs in saying he didn’t tell me that number he told me $100 MORE A MONTH. I said you absolutely did not bc that is almost what I pay now and I told you I wouldn’t even entertain for that same price. He then continued to make me feel like I was in the wrong even though HE DEFINITELY told me the number I said I wanted, written per our convo with other accurate notes, and my husband also heard. I was SO MAD. I got my old car, title and registration back and left. So, after 4 hours I was lied to, made to feel uncomfortable, made to feel like I was wrong and stupid - all to leave very upset and with nothing to show for it. I have been a customer at this location for purchase and ALL OF MY SERVICES for 2 VWs. And no one even tried to apologize or own their mistake. No one offered to try to work with me more. Nothing. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! More

This is literally the worst dealership I’ve ever had to buy a car from. The lack of training and empathy they have for their customers is absolutely ridiculous. Did not provide me with a rental or a loaner for the entire perilous they had the car and told me they are working on other deals all the time instead of providing me updates. Matt the GM is an extremely rude individual and his managers are all talk and 0 action. They did not help me after they sold me a Lemon…. The car had issues from day 1… instead of getting Volkswagen involved they kept pushing things off and did not resolve my issue. Constant excuses from them about everything. They would hang up on my phone calls multiple times when I called, provided me 0 updates and made false promises over and over. HORRIBLE DEALER. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. More

Geoff Lemme, our sales person, was really great with getting us into our new ‘22 Taos with going over the car. We got started on the paper work quickly after the test drive and Lisa Light in finance did getting us into our new ‘22 Taos with going over the car. We got started on the paper work quickly after the test drive and Lisa Light in finance did a wonderful job as well and was very friendly. We did not feel pressured. The experience was overall smooth and the dealership has a great selection of inventory as we settled on their selection in stock.
