AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AND SALESPERSON KENNY WYNN AT ALL COSTS! THIS IS YOUR WARNING! I was in contact with Kenny Wynn at Ourisman VW regarding the purchase of a used Lexus. I was very clear with my qu COSTS! THIS IS YOUR WARNING! I was in contact with Kenny Wynn at Ourisman VW regarding the purchase of a used Lexus. I was very clear with my questions and expectations on the deal with Kenny Wynn because it was a 2 hour drive for me each direction (4 hours round trip). I asked Kenny to view the exterior and interior of the car for me and report back, specifically if there were any scratches, dings, dents or curb rash on the vehicle. Kenny Wynn was quick to respond and said the car looked great, no damage and was in excellent condition. I also asked Kenny to confirm that there were two sets of keys to the vehicle, which he quickly responded and confirmed that there were two sets of keys. I let him know that I was driving two hours to purchase the car and these specifics were important to me. I also let him know that if I arrive and there are any games played I would not be happy. He responded "Oh no, we don't do that here" I loaded my family into our car and we hit the road making the two hour trip to the dealership. When we arrived we met Kenny Wynn who showed us to the vehicle and took my information for a test drive. I walked around the vehicle only to notice that there were several dings, dents and scratches in the trim molding on the passenger side of the vehicle which were blatantly obvious. The vehicle looked like it had been the target of a vengeful ex. Also, both rear wheels had significant curb rash. Next I asked Kenny "You have two sets of keys correct?" to which he replied "Let me check." He came back and claimed that he couldn't find the second set of keys. Obviously I was not happy and reminded him that this was something that I specifically asked about before making the drive. Kenny Wynn proceeded to blame it on a co-worker and not take ownership for the mistake. I was blatantly lied to no less them 4 times to my face by Kenny Wynn and I have receipts to prove it. It was a complete waste of my time, my families time, gas and tolls. Kenny Wynn is a blatant liar and has no respect or regard for customers time and money. Karma will catch up to you Kenny Wynn and Ourisman needs to do better. If you decide to purchase from Ourisman or anywhere else make sure you request a new salesperson if you are placed with Kenny Wynn. You will thank me for this advice. More
I signed a contract for a pre-owned Tiguan on July 5, and as of July 17, I still haven’t received the vehicle. I purchased a vehicle from this dealership in December, and the experience has been nothing but frustrating ever since. I was told some work needed to be done on the car and to return the next day. When I came back, not only was the work not done, but the staff acted like they had no record of my purchase. I ended up waiting unnecessarily while they sorted it out. I was also supposed to receive important tax documentation, which never arrived. Despite numerous phone calls and even an in-person visit from my husband, we were repeatedly given the runaround. Now, they no longer answer the phone at all. I had hoped to receive the documents before the April 15 tax deadline, but that came and went with no response. This kind of service is completely unacceptable. It’s clear they have no interest in standing by their promises or providing even the most basic level of customer service. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. More

It was the perfect car buying experience: the sale price was several thousands below market value; the vehicle was immaculate and Raleigh even got it detailed and topped off the fuel; I was in there for under 2 hrs so it was a quick and painless transaction, I didn’t feel pressured at all from the time I sent my first email to inquire about the car’s availability, to the moment I came in to check out the vehicle and purchase it. I didn’t really believe that the car I was interested in was really on the lot as it was being offered at a relatively low price online (I thought it was a “bait n switch”) so I came in there without expecting to make a purchase. Holly crap it was real so I bought it on the spot! After we finished the transaction, Raleigh even helped me park the car I drove to get to the dealership at the nearby Metro station so I could drive home the Audi with me and pick up my other car at the end of the day by conveniently taking the Metro. I highly recommend this dealership and Raleigh is the man! Totally worth driving through DC traffic for 75 minutes. I will definitely come back to them for my next vehicle purchase. P.S. They don’t accept credit cards so bring your checkbook if you’re buying cash. ;) More

I arranged childcare on a Saturday afternoon and then drove to see this vehicle. It turned out the AI had been misleading and the car I reached out about was actually at a dealer 55 mins drive away. A second car I had inquired about, was also on a separate lot - and not available to see. The staff member I dealt with seemed dazed and a little confused. He was in the middle of a break (eating and drinking) and was told to deal with us as the person we had an appointment with was busy. When he came over, we thought he was another customer... he wasn't dressed like the other salesmen and seemed irritated. In the end, we felt they were not really interested in selling us a $40k car - so we left - drove 20 mins away to King Kia, and bought a car there. More

I was contacted that same day by your salesman Nathan Derr. I told him the car was for my son and he was looking to spend a little less. He asked if I would be willing to take the same car in black since it would be cheaper due to an upcharge for the Opal white paint. He said he could get me the car for $21,995, which worked perfectly for us. He said I would have to take a car they had on the lot and they currently had two in black. One with Grey interior and one with Black interior. I asked him to send me pictures and he did. The next day I called him back to finalize the deal and he pretended not to know what I was talking about. I then asked to speak to the General Sales Manager, Mario Meyers, but no one called back. The following day I called and left a message for Mr. Meyers, but no call back! Since then, I have received daily calls from different salesman. Very unprofessional and disingenuous of this dealership. They could have simply called back and said they made a mistake and did not want to sell the car at the price we agreed to or whatever their issue is. I would not have been happy, but I’d at least understand an honest mistake! More
I purchased a VW GTI from Ourisman VW of Rockville three months ago. The car is, so far, fine. The way I've been treated since buying it, however, has been obnoxious, inconsiderate, and frustrating. It makes me seriously doubt the honesty and integrity of the business. Because there are many places one could buy a new VW, I'd suggest doing that. The issue arose because of the "extended warranty." Upon purchasing the car, I was told that I could buy this warranty. I was also told that, while I couldn't get the warranty after having already bought the car, I could cancel any time within the first 30 days for a full refund. I therefore bought the warranty, thinking I would use the first month to do my research to see whether I should keep it or cancel it. I did my research and decided I wanted to cancel it. I called the dealership multiple times to ask how I should do that. They kept transferring me to numbers that no one answered, forcing me to leave messages that were never returned. Getting frustrated, I called yet again and told them that they were making it impossible for me to cancel the warranty by never returning any of my calls. They finally gave me an email address and told me I should send a request to cancel to that email address. I did so, within the thirty days, and asked for a confirmation that the warranty would be canceled and the refund issued to me. I waited a week and received no response to the email. I resent the email, again asking for confirmation that the warranty had been cancelled. Again, I received no response. Finally, I had to call yet again. I was once again directed to a voicemail box, and my message was not returned. I then called again (now outside the 30 days). Finally, I reached someone. That person initially tried to deny that I had properly cancelled the warranty, said that I should have been given a form to fill out to cancel the warranty, and insisted that they would have to pro-rate the refund as a result. When I protested and showed the unanswered email that I sent, formally requesting the cancellation of the warranty, he finally relented and said I would receive the refund in four to five weeks. Two months passed since that and I still haven't received the refund. As a result, I embarked, yet again, on another fruitless mission of calling and being forced to leave voicemails that were never answered. I spoke with someone earlier last week and explained my frustration. He said they would call me the following day. They never did. I am currently being forced to file a complaint with the Maryland attorney general's office to get the refund that I am clearly entitled to. That is the only way I can get these jerks to respond to me. In conclusion, these are not the sort of people you want to be dealing with when buying something as significant as a car. I'd look elsewhere. More
