I relocated to Delaware and had to find a dealer to service my new Outback. I took it to a dealer located near my apartment and found that they were less than satisfactory. I had a problem with the Eyesight system and they couldn't diagnose it or even offer a suggestion as to what was causing the problem. I decided to try another dealer. After visiting a couple of Subaru dealers I selected Matt Slap and brought my Outback to them for a solution. They diagnosed the problem as a computer glitch that had a technical service bulletin from almost a year ago that had never been performed on my car, applied the fix and my car is now 100%. What a pleasure to find a service team that is friendly and accessible and KNOWS what they are doing. More

They said it would it take some time so they offered me a loaner vehicle until they could fix the issue. My main point of contact there was Adolfo Aba. He was very genuine and provided me with great service. When the part finally came in I returned the loaner and got my vehicle back. Later I felt that the brake pedal was a bit loose. I called Matt Slap again and wanting to make sure I had peace of mind while driving my car they told me to bring the car back in for them to check it out free of charge. They again gave me a loaner car and I told them I would come back to pick up my Tribeca. However they offered me the option of getting the car delivered to my home. I was blown away by this. This is what I call Grade-A service. I would highly recommend this dealership for service. More
Beyond Blessed I want to personally thank Rachel, the service writer, and the technicians who checked out my car, Cody and Eldred. If it weren't for them, their kin I want to personally thank Rachel, the service writer, and the technicians who checked out my car, Cody and Eldred. If it weren't for them, their kindness and the fact they stayed late for me - I would not have made it back to VA when I needed to be there. I was heading to VA from NJ to work and visit family when out of nowhere, my car stopped accelerating. I had no idea what was wrong and thought "Oh hell, my car is gonna die and I need to get home tonight!" Thank goodness I had AAA and they gave me the info to contact Matt Slap Subaru - the closest AAA authorized repair facility. I informed them of what was going on with my car and told them I was waiting for the AAA tow truck. It was 5:00pm and the height of rush hour traffic. They informed me the service department closed at 6:00pm, but they would do whatever they could when I got there. The six mile drive to the dealership seemed to be the longest of my life - as it took 40 minutes and I was so distressed because the service department was going to close in 20 minutes. Were they going to be able to find out what was wrong with it and fix it in that time? After they got my car in the bay, Rachel informed me the technicians agreed to stay until they figured out what was wrong and it was fixed. I was so grateful and couldn't believe they would go out of their way to help me the way they did. They quickly assessed what was wrong and fixed the issue. They also topped off all my fluids. They had me back on the road an hour after I came in. They took care of me as though I had purchased my vehicle from them and I couldn't have been happier. I made it back to VA that night. I may never cross paths with any of these people again, but I promise this, I will never forget the kindness extended to me that day. I will be forever grateful! More
VERY UNHAPPY with Service I took my car to Matt Slap Service for an oil change and rotation of the tires. Less than 12 hours later I noticed the low pressure tire light was on. I took my car to Matt Slap Service for an oil change and rotation of the tires. Less than 12 hours later I noticed the low pressure tire light was on. All 4 tires were low and the lowest to highest pressure difference was 20 PSI. 3700 miles after that same service I went to check the oil level and the oil cap was sitting on the battery and oil was all over the engine compartment. Needless to say I will not be bringing my car back to Matt Slap for service nor will I go back to purchase a Subaru. How hard is it to check the air pressure and put the oil cap back on. They can't even get the simple things right More

WRX Transmission Failure The CVT transmission on our WRX failed only after 2K miles of driving. Going to blame Subaru on that one. But the dealer handled everything extremely The CVT transmission on our WRX failed only after 2K miles of driving. Going to blame Subaru on that one. But the dealer handled everything extremely well, including the loaner car and overall quality of the repair. Ended up jumping through hoops to get a new transmission shipped from across the country being that the ports were backed up. So far everything runs well. I would come back again. (not the trans failure part though) More
