Service Advisor Brandon Bart deserves special recognition for helping me with the following problem. On April 18, 2024, I brought my NX 350h to the dealership because the dashboard remained black each time t for helping me with the following problem. After the techs determined that they needed to order a part and bring in someone from the regional office, Brandon quickly secured a loaner. During the week that the car was at the dealership, Brandon (at my request) got the routine service done so I would not need to return a second time........Unfortunately the problem is not resolved, and Brandon was totally forthright about the situation. Installing the part does not insure that the dashboard will not go dark again because the entire "dashboard mechanism" needs to be replaced. The replacement is not scheduled to be available for 200 days which is almost to the end of 2025. I was told I could not trade in the car now for new NX since it would be unsalable until the replacement was installed. I would urge anyone at Lexus to follow up continuously to secure a replacement dashboard for my car. Brandon has my contact information should anyone want to get in touch with me. More

Ourisman Lexus of Rockville stands above the rest; and it is because of the people. Living in Alexandria, VA, we have access to several Lexus dealerships within a 50-mile radius. During my search for a vehicle, the GX 550, I believe I had the opportunity to speak with all of them. While most of the dealerships were knowledgeable and engaging, with the exception of 1, I have to say Ourisman Lexus of Rockville stood above them all. Not because they had more cars to choose from or were the most convenient, they are about 40 minutes away from Alexandria, it was (is) because of the people there. When I went there to look at and test drive the GX 550 with my wife, we were graciously greeted by Dela Tamakloe who spent the next 2 hours with us telling us about the GX, showing us the ones they had on the lot (even though most were already sold) and conducting a test drive with us. I was looking for a GX 550 Premium + in a specific color with specific options which they did not have. Dela checked the inventory system to see if their current and upcoming GX allotment from Lexus had a vehicle to match my preferences. Unfortunately, they didn't. Dela then engaged his sales Manager, Sthe Hamm, and our first thought was "OK here comes the pressure to buy something besides what we wanted". We were pleasantly surprised to find just the opposite. Believing that you should be honest and treat people the way you want to be treated, I did let Dela and Seth know that I had spoken to other dealerships about what I was looking for. Instead of taking a hard sell approach and trying to push me into a vehicle I did not want, they said "we want to earn your business, and we will look at options to find you what you want". We left there encouraged and not feeling beat up with heavy sells pressure. Dela told us they would be in touch in a few days. I believe it was approximately 3 days before they called back to say that they had located a GX 550 in the configuration I wanted, minus a couple options. Dela was able to get the missing options added to the build sheet and we agreed on the purchase. He told me it would take 4 to 6 weeks to receive the GX. I believe it took 3 1/2 weeks to get the call that the car was being delivered. That was on a Wednesday late afternoon. On the following Saturday my wife and I drove to Rockville to complete the purchase and pick up my new GX 550. After going through the inspection process and doing a quick test drive with Dela we went into finance to complete the purchase. Again, expecting to see some sells pressure, we were greeted by Sasan Nevai who was just the opposite from the perceived norm. In lieu of trying to pressure us into add-on packages he walked us through all the paperwork, he did offer us some add-on packages and explained each one but at no time did we feel like we were being pressured to buy something. We finished up with Sasan walking us back out to meet with Seth and Dela who both seemed genuinely appreciative of our business and thanked us. Dela walked us out to the car and spent another 10 minutes just talking to us. The entire car buying experience was, dare I say, enjoyable. While Lexus has a great reputation, it is (was) more about the people as to why we purchased our new GX 550 from Ourisman. Thank you Dela and the entire team. More
This dealership, by far, is the best one I've ever been to. The entire team, beginning from sales, all the way to finance and service, are incredible. Uriel Rincon (Tony) was my salesman for purchasing a used 2023 Mercedes. One of the things that stood out for me was the degree of communication from Tony and Josh Kabira (Sales Manager).
