I purchased my 2017 Genesis G80 at another dealership and was woefully disappointed with how they treated me when I brought my car in for service. However, I continue to be wowed with the customer service at was woefully disappointed with how they treated me when I brought my car in for service. However, I continue to be wowed with the customer service at Ourisman Hyundai/Genesis. From the service managers coming to my car as I pull into the service lane with portable tablets, to the care shown by the assistants who take my vehicle to the service bay. Add to that the superior work of the service techs who work on my vehicle and, (the cherry on top) that my vehicle is returned to me clean inside and out. You guys are a class act. Did warranty work. Staff was helpful, supportive and up front about any issues. Kept the car an extra day to insure it was working properly. Building well maintained for the current health crisis. I’m 19 and have a 2012 Veloster. I go in to get my car diagnosed because it would keep cutting out. So they work on it for a supposed 4 days and claim to fix it and it went in with no lights and comes out diagnosed because it would keep cutting out. So they work on it for a supposed 4 days and claim to fix it and it went in with no lights and comes out with a 2300 dollar engine light for a catalytic converter. So I take it home and later that night I drove it and it cut out again and they had charged me the typical 191$ for a diagnostic test but then said oh we need to add 3 hours for the tech which doesn’t make any sense because it’s a diagnostic you pay one fee and they will find the issue. Mind you I work at Toyota of Bowie and all the managers and techs said that’s bs. And then the next day they call and said oh there’s $10,000 worth of stuff I need to replace including a brand new transmission. Which then I took it to Hyundai of college park where they said you don’t need a new one you just need to do a drain and fill. So they tried to charge me $7,580 for a brand new one. It’s just crazy so I got screwed out of $300 for a diagnostic test because it only costed me 79$ at college park and they didn’t ask for bs extra hours for the tech. Then on top of that during me calling to check in because I received one update over the four days I called and asked for an update and one of the male advisors said oh ok I will let my advisor know I’m crying about my car. I worked with Jerrell this time. This was the first time that I I left my car, opposed to waiting inside. They truly provide the Genesis "worry-free ownership experience"! I compare that to the Genesis dealer in my local area who I found to be brusque, unwelcoming, inflexible and borderline rude when trying to schedule a service appointment … It's worth traveling to Bowie to get your money's worth !
