I had been in the market to find me a vehicle that far exceeded the one that I was currently driving. I have seen countless number's of Ram Pickup truck's on the road, and I knew I had to have one. A few month's went by, while I was examining various websites, in order to find the information that I needed, in order to fully understand what a Ram Pickup truck could do for me. I stumbled across an ad for Lustine Dodge - Chrysler - Jeep of Woodbridge, so I decided to go check out their inventory. When I arrived on site I was amazed at the sheer number of Ram Truck's that were at this dealership. It was about a week before I decided to make my initial visit to the dealership, when I recieved a email, regarding the 2011 Dodge Ram 1500 Outdoorsman. I was blown away by the design, the various features that this truck came with and the safety and security features of this vehicle. I decided to go to the dealership and check out this vehicle, that got my attention. I was greeted by MATT LePAGE, Sales Consultant [and all around great guy], at this dealership. He started off the visit with a positive "Hello how are you", and I proceeded to ask him various questions, regarding the exact vehicle that I had recieved an email about, a week prior to my visit. Mr. LePage walked me down to their inventory of Ram 1500 Outdoorsman truck's that they had on their car lot. I began explaining my preferences regarding my vehicle of choice, and he took me over to the EXACT vehicle that I had been considering a purchase of. He briefly went into the showroom and brought out a set of key's for this particular vehicle, that I had requested to examine. We took the truck out of the dealership, in order to give me a professional examination of the vehicle's aspects. While Mr. LePage was going over all the components that were new to this particular vehicle, I can honestly say that I fell in love with this Ram 1500 Outdoorsman. During the time that Mr. LePage was making my introduction to this vehicle, he was very patient, knowledgable regarding my questions and concern's to a particular item, and handled himself in a very distinguished and professional manner. After my intro was finalized I proceeded to test drive the vehicle, I knew right then that I had to have it, along with all the features of this truck, had me sold on it. I allowed myself 2 weeks to think everything through carefully before I decided to make my purchase of this vehicle. Finally on November 23, 2010, I called Matt LePage, and explained that I would be in the dealership that evening to purchase my new truck. When I arrived, I was greeted by Matt LePage, and a few other gentelmen that worked for the dealership. Everyone that I spoke with, were friendly, praised me on my decision to purchase from their dealership and about my vehicle preference, and were eager to assist me in any way possible. When I go to ANY DEALERSHIP, I look for 3 traits in salesman [ INTEGRITY, COMPETENCE, and WILLINGNESS to help their exclusive client's, in the best way humanly possible ]. While I was at this dealership, to make my purchase of this extrodinary vehicle, Matt Lepage [ my contact at the dealership ] DID NOT PRESSURE ME into signing, while I made certain modification's to the asking price of the vehicle, and requested a few bonus items to be thrown in. After we came to a fair price and stipulation's about this purchase, I signed the contract for this vehicle that I own now, and I could not ask for more in a vehicle. Matt LePage in my opinion, is a distinguished part of this dealership, and I thank him for all his support and patience, while I made my mind up, to purchase my dream vehicle with him. I have already started telling my friends about this dealership, and about Matt's unconditional reputation, to help his customers get the vehicle that best suit's them. A few of my friends will be going to the dealership in order to get their own vehicle from a dealership that I consider to be top notched as far as customer satisfaction, and I added that they should refer their interests to Matt LePage, since he gave me a great experience and his solid business skill's, will be an asset to them as well. A couple of years ago, Lustine had taken over the service and sales from another dealership, which had dropped the Jeep product. When I first brought my Liberty to Lustine for service, the mechanic discover and sales from another dealership, which had dropped the Jeep product. When I first brought my Liberty to Lustine for service, the mechanic discovered a problem with the transmission which my service records showed could only have been created by work done during the warranty period at the prior dealership. Lustine service department replaced the transmission for free and did not quibble about it. They accepted the responsibility for the problem and made it right. Since then, every time I have had a service experience with them I have found them to be willing to discuss the full extent of any service that I need, and look for ways to save me time and money. While paying for car repairs and regular service is far from my favorite pastime, the pleasant and conscientious attitude reflected by the Lustine staff helps. I don't know alot about mechanics so it's important to me to feel confident that the work has been competently done and that it is only work that is needed. Lustine provides that kind of service. I did some research on Edmunds.com before coming to the dealership looking for a truck. The price and financing rate that I received were below the regional averages for the vehicle and length of financing dealership looking for a truck. The staff was very friendly and quickly put me at ease during the truck buying process. They listened patiently to what I said that I wanted and did not impose any pressure nor did they try to sell me a much more expensive vehicle. The only surprises that I received were some excellent features of the Dodge Ram that the salesman neglected to mention. I am extremely happy with my truck and the buying experience at Lustine was actually quite pleasant. I would highly recommend this dealership and the employees I named above if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle. I also think that it shows a great deal of confidence if the dealership provides the name of a website (this one) and asks you to rate them! More
Darlene made every part of the experience great. We had spoken to her on the phone, and so she knew we were coming. She had the car we were interested in right outside. My situation is unusual in that my wife is suffering from a disease that is not curable and I live in fear each day that I may lose her. My husband and I popped into your dealership to test drive the white Sebring convertible. Although we were interested in this vehicle, we had no intention of purchasing a car last night, however Darlen drive the white Sebring convertible. Although we were interested in this vehicle, we had no intention of purchasing a car last night, however Darlene Breeden made our visit very comfortable. With her sincere sales approach, we were delighted to do business with her. After a few negotiations with Darlene and Hollis Batts, although the final quote was very good, it did not meet our expectations. We left the office, only to return and purchase the car. One of the reasons we came back was because of Darlene. We would have been “turned off” had she been the typical, high pressured salesperson one normally meets at car dealerships. Throughout the entire time, Darlene made us feel she was working in our behalf. She was interested, sincere and straight to the point, without being forceful or obnoxious. My husband and I feel, more car dealerships should have salespeople like Darlene Breeden, and she should be commended for the way she handles customers. p.s. service department is not so good. seemed very uninterested. This dealership needs a better understanding of customer service, they do not honor their warranites, do not return phone calls. I purchased an add on and was told they would call to set it up and they never did. I had transmission and cruise problems within the first 2 weeks and they forwarded me to the manufacturer and would not cover the deductible. The dealership does not understand honesty or the idea of customer service. More
I have been in the Washington DC area for a number of years and have bought new cars from several dealerships in the area. I also read a number of bad reviews of this dealership before shopping there, bu years and have bought new cars from several dealerships in the area. I also read a number of bad reviews of this dealership before shopping there, but decided to give it a try anyway since I had not found the deal I was looking for. Bottom line: they offered me a great deal on exactly the truck I was looking for with minimum hassle. And I took it. Why? Because I trusted the people I was dealing with and that trust paid off. I can only say that my experience in contrast with the bad reviews I had read could only be attributable to one thing: the people. I know Mike Engle was brand new when I made my purchase and I was convinced that he was determined to make a difference. He did for me and I think given time his stamp will be put on the whole dealership. He has served his country and has been a Patriot. I think he carries those values over into his work. People make a difference -- sometimes it takes time though. Give these people a chance to earn your business and make a decision based on how they interact with you -- not on some bad reviews that were written about other people in another time. More
