This guy is clearly somebody that never learned how to do business in the 21st century (or modern days). Later in the day on 2/22/22, I sent a message to, what I thought it was, their sales department expressing my interest on one of their vehicles. This is what I wrote: "Greetings, My name is Alfred, I'm shopping for a Jeep Gladiator Willys Sport. I'm looking to lease for 36 months with 12K miles per year. The primary lessee's credit score is 750. I looking to lease with $0 drive off. I would like to have this deal done by the end of the week if I'm able to find a seller with the best price. I'm particularly interested in two vehicles that are listed on your website. Stock#: 2JT3035 and 2JT2982" Soon after, I received a message from their customer experience assistance asking to verify my email address (I confirmed). The following day I received another email inquiring about my phone number. I politely expressed to her that I'm at work and I prefer to communicate via email for two reasons. 1. I don't have time to be on the phone. 2. I'm working with other dealers as well, so the best way to keep track on each offer is via email. Anyhow, I got a message from another folk later on. He sent me a link for a vehicle that was close to what I'm shopping for. I confirmed again what I said in the initial email. Days go by and I've been told that I should be receiving the "numbers" soon. Early 2/25/22 I emailed the sales person stating that I would like to get the deal done later in the day. He replied with "this much a month, 36/12K". In previous lease negotiations, the dealers had (at least) the courtesy of sending me a simplified statement (cap cost, residual value, dealer's fees, etc). I emailed him back saying that I was not longer interested for the informality of his response. He replied by saying that he had technical issues but he tried to send it as an attached. Later in the day, I expressed on Google my disappointment on the way they conduct business. The following day I got notified that the GM responded to my feedback. I found hilarious the audacity of this man. If he didn't suppressed my comment I invite you to go and look for his response. During the week, I stated on one of the emails that I'm planning to register and garage the vehicle in MA (summer house). However, that doesn't mean I reside in MA. I live in the DC area, but whatever the case: WHAT DOES IT MATTER WHERE I LIVE? In late 2019, I leased a car from the guys at DGDG in CA, and mid-June of 2021 I leased my spouse's vehicle from 'Benz in Bedford, OH. These folks wanted my business, I gave it to them. I'm not going to mention those I dealt with, because I would like to think that they are doing the best they can. Especially if they have to deal with a boss like Matt Lepage. I know the feeling to work with grown up kid-bosses. I send my sincere condolences to these folks. More
