This last visit truly set my expectations for all others to follow. Upon reporting my concern with Mr. David Layton, he immediately noticed and determined that the warranty on Grand Cherokee could cover the necessary repairs after I was previously told I was out of warranty. Mr. Layton’s attention to detail, loyalty to customers, and dedication to ethical practices has encouraged me to spread my experience and why I will return. Mr. Layton assigned my ticket to Thomas Ramey (ASM) and he rapidly determined the necessary service required, ordered the necessary part, provided the name of my Technician (Ashton) and got me into a rental vehicle in a matter of 20 minutes. Mr. Ramey then assigned a service advisor (Sam) that maintained contact with me regarding the status of my vehicle during part shipment and repairs. Understanding that my repairs were time sensitive due to a work related travel using my vehicle Mr. Ramey and Sam ensured that my vehicle actually had a full inspection to determine others needs and safety during the operation of my vehicle. Ashton determined that my brakes were worn to a point that it may have been unsafe and could be a larger cost later if I waited. Mr. Ramey and Sam even went as far as verifying the Mopar Lifetime Limited Warranty on the brakes I had installed 6 months prior. Yes, they did. They didn’t discount my claim that I recently had the front brakes replaced, they verified if the workmanship or part was inadequate. Thus, insuring my security as drive my vehicle outside the state of Virginia today for work related travel. As Lustine Chrysler Dodge Jeep worked on my vehicle for the past 5 days, I can only be thankful that their dedication to service is paramount, attention to detail is crucial to avoid returning the same day for something missed, and Mr. Layton ensures his staff maintain a standard that was emulated in Mr. Ramey, Sam and Ashton. Knowing that my vehicle is now being finished my Wiley today, I look forward to my next vehicle service with a team that is mindful of their work and understand how their service affects a customer’s experience. Mr. Layton, thank you for your attention to detail on my warranty, being honest, respectful and courteous to a customer that will return to your Jeep Service location. I hope that Mr. Nino Sita recognized you and your team for something that may same small, but has a large impact on the name of your organization. Looking forward to picking up my vehicle today. J. High Pressure I have purchased 19 cars in my life and this was, by far, the worst and most high pressured experienced. I’ll try to keep this short – I came to this I have purchased 19 cars in my life and this was, by far, the worst and most high pressured experienced. I’ll try to keep this short – I came to this dealership on a Saturday morning looking at a new Wrangler they had on their lot. After going back and forth with numbers for about an hour, they couldn’t agree with my price (32K). Everything civil and I wasn’t mad or upset. I understand they’re trying to sell a car but they were extremely aggressive and I got to the point where I was “off balance” – So I left. I was in my car backing out when the salesman said “we can do the deal” – which I assumed they met my price of 32K. I was so ‘flustered’, I said no thanks and left. I felt guilty because they did spend a couple of hours with me. So later that night I get a call from a different sales manager and said the deal is still on the table – so I told I’d come by Sunday and sign the papers for 32k. So Sunday comes, I’m excited about my car, etc…..I get there and the original sales manager (Brandon Shanahan) I was dealing with met me. He was almost a different man. His attitude turned 180 degrees. It was almost like he was ticked off with me that I didn’t make the deal the day before…..anyway, he tells me he’s got to look at the deal. Comes back with a price of 32.7K (the manager that called me the prior night wasn’t in). I know it’s only $700 but that’s a big deal to me -That and I felt like they were playing games. I regret not getting up and walking out but at this point I was emotionally attached to the car and they knew it and took advantage of that. Settled on 32.5. Two weeks later, I honestly still can’t enjoy my new car because I feel that I was taken advantage of. I’m sick that I gave them my business. They got an extra $500 out of me but it prompted me to write this review and I will make sure none of my friends or family members - who all come to me when they're buying a car - walk into that dealership. Side note: I did email the General Manger with my experience prior to writing this review and got crickets……also, my salesperson, Chris Baskin was great. Nice guy. More

He went above and beyond with assistance on gathering information on my service warranty from another dealer, kept me apprised of the work on my vehicle, and was honest about the work that needed to get done. Bryan was professional and genuinely friendly. I also had the pleasure of working with Finance Manager Azmi Sabah. Azmi was honest and helpful in the sale of a new vehicle. I believe Lustine thrives as a successful business because of honest and down to earth employees like Bryant and Azmi. More
Buyer Beware I’ve debated on writing this review for some time now, but the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back recently occurred and I can’t let unsuspec I’ve debated on writing this review for some time now, but the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back recently occurred and I can’t let unsuspecting buyers shop here without having been forewarned. I have purchased two RAM trucks from this dealer (a 1500 and a 2500 Diesel) and this current one (2500) will be the last. I get it, dealerships and dealers are as shady as they get, next to lawyers, but this place and its people are the worst. In my first experience one of the “Managers”, Jesse Annis argued with me that bi-weekly payments would amount to the same as the monthly payments I originally agreed to. The second time we met (when I purchased the 2500) he said he wanted to meet me because he had never met someone with a credit score so high (800+), but that sure didn’t translate into much during the financing, and I guess he forgot about our first meeting. I remember telling the young salesman that the deal I was looking at for this “new” 2500 was “too good to be true”, and as is always the case with too good to be true… it was. The truck I purchased was a 2016 RAM 2500 Diesel with only 900 miles on it. It was clean and looked good, other than a dent across the front of the bumper, but the sales guy assured me it was just sent over from another dealership, all dealer miles, clean “car fax” reports, etc.,… and all this for an awesome price. I’m essentially getting a “Brand New”, albeit older model, RAM 2500 Diesel (Lamarie trim) for less than 60k. I wrap it up with the sales guy, the BS manager, and the BS finance guy and drive home. Days later, I notice the passenger side door handle is different than the driver side; it has one of those little push buttons on it to unlock it when you have the key fob in your pocket. So I try it, and it doesn’t work (odd?). Then my wife takes a ride with me and hears this rattling noise, but can’t figure out where it is coming from. I originally couldn’t hear it, but I can’t hear much as it is anyways with a service connected hearing loss. So I let her drive, and sure enough, there is some strange rattling going on from what seems to be inside the passenger side door (odd??). Now I’m beginning to wonder how “clean” this vehicle really is. I also notice as I take corners, or curves on and off entrance/exit ramps, the bed makes horrible noises as though it’s not bolted down all the way, the bushings are bad or it’s a 20 year old truck (odd???). Then, one of the rubber stoppers/bumpers for the tailgate falls out, I go to put it back in place, comparing it to the one on the other side and see that this one has some plastic push pin grommet holding it in place, while the other is securely screwed in place (odd????). Finally, I am under the truck on a creeper replacing the fuel filters (they quoted me $450 + tax, I did for less than $90 within 30 minutes), and as I roll out from under the passenger side I see that the bottom of the doors, both front and rear, show bare metal developing rust. They appear to have been set on the ground and dragged or scratched against something. I had actually first noticed this about a month after I bought the truck when I was installing the nerf bars, but I was pressed for time, focused on getting them installed, and it was cold, so I didn’t give it that much attention. Now these spots have begun to rust, and easily stood out. I can only imagine I will have to look to replace the doors next spring if I don’t sand off the rust and repaint them soon. Finally, there are several open recalls on the truck. I was told by the service manager I can schedule to drop off the truck over a weekend to have them evaluated, but not to expect a loaner car, as they are first come first serve. So, let me get this straight, I have to bring my vehicle to the dealership I bought it for recall work, but I probably won’t get a loaner? This is my last purchase from Lustine Dodge, or any Lustine dealership for that matter, and if you are in the market for a new vehicle, you should look elsewhere as well. More
