I had a great experience with Matt Lepke today. He calls himself the candyman. He's great with customer service and even better with getting us in and out quickly which we all know is hard to do in dealersh himself the candyman. He's great with customer service and even better with getting us in and out quickly which we all know is hard to do in dealerships. The showroom is huge and very clean! They have a ton of inventory that other dealers seem to struggle with. Ourisman seems to be a great organization and I will make sure I service with them and buy from them again! More
After my wife and I made an appointment we drove from Richmon VA for more than 3 hours and a half to purchase a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited they advertised for $44,475 on Car Gurus. When we got to Richmon VA for more than 3 hours and a half to purchase a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited they advertised for $44,475 on Car Gurus. When we got to the negotiating table they told us that the price was over $51,000 not what I was told on the phone, or as advertised in Car Gurus. So buyers are aware of the switch and bait!! they admitted to my wife and me they did it to get us to come in but they, Ourisman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Baltimore, refused to lower their price! However, they did gave us a flimsy excuse and apology. My wife and I didn't just walk away, we ran away from them!! CarGurus Please check on your advertisers for the switch and bait. It is especially frustrating when you travel from a faraway distance only to be pushed to pay more than the as advertised price on the CarGurus site. We give Ourisman Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Baltimore, Zero Stars Rating for not disclosing the real price online and over the phone. They to be upfront about the real asking price! More
The staff and management are very rude and when I spoke to the manager Scott he was ruder then the rest of the staff I do not recommend this dealer Scott and his “team” in Baltimore are horrible to the manager Scott he was ruder then the rest of the staff I do not recommend this dealer Scott and his “team” in Baltimore are horrible More
I started my search to purchase a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited in anticipation of the arrival of my 4th grandchild. My search suggested that Ourisman Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep was advertising the Cherokee L Limited in anticipation of the arrival of my 4th grandchild. My search suggested that Ourisman Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep was advertising the lowest price for the Jeep L Limited at approximately $43,325 just about 6k under MSRP with $2k of qualifying incentives of which I only qualified for $500.00. This suggested to me that about $1,500 would be added to the advertised promised price of $43,325. I also expected there to be a $1,695 destination charge, a dealer fee of $500, tax, tags, and title and maybe another 1k I might have missed. Now every day for 6 days, asked the sales manager Skylin to send me an out the door price on the selected Jeep L limited, So I could secure funding with my credit union in advance. To my shock, neither Skylin nor anyone else on the sales team responded or provided the information I requested after my many attempts from 10 September - 16 September So I decided to drive the 50 miles to the dealership on the morning of 17 September, and things were worst than I thought. Unlike other dealerships that are clearly advertising the sale price of their cars at or above MSRP online and in everway possible. This Ourrisman Chrysler, Dodge Jeep dealership is advertising their prices 6-9K below MSRP and when you come into the dealership not only are they selling the car at MSRP but then add a market plus-up of $1,299 to the price, additional fees of $995 and then options that are not added to the car and not requested by the customer in the tune of $2,995, Did I mention $500 for special air for the tires and all kinds of other hidden fees not mention upfront on their website. While false advertising is not a new concept the motivations, lack of transparency and false sales tactics from this dealership's sales team are out of hand and frankly unnecessary given the current market. Customers are aware of the current market conditions and if we are planning to buy in this market we know we can expect to pay more which may include paying at or above MSRP. So be upfront and honest with your pricing online and well as at the dealership. Skylin and the Ourisman's sales team failed to be honest, provided transparent pricing, and failed to communicate with their customer openly, honestly, and in a timely manner. Therefore I could not in good faith purchase a car from this dealership chain and would not recommend that anyone else consider this dealership in the future. More
I had the absolute worst experience at this dealership. I initially didn’t receive any of those and had to return to the dealership the following day when my home is 1.5hrs away. That’s a 3 hour total trip dragging my 3 kids along with me. I have had the car for almost a week and cannot access UConnect (in car WiFi, satellite radio, roadside assistance, SOS calling etc.) because the dealership didn’t register my VIN or set up my correct email address with Jeep. I am still trying to get this sorted out and have spent hours on the phone with Jeep/UConnect & Sirius Guardian only to be told that this is an issue only the dealership can fix. Still waiting for them to fix it.....The managers Sky and Lavon pressured me into completing my paperwork with my old VA address to make financing easier (for them) because they’d have to call around to different banks and it was already “late”. I returned the next day with a check to pay off the financing and that was also a big issue for them. They reluctantly took my check but when I brought up my disappointments to the manager Chad, he didn’t seem to care. The following day, I emailed Lavon and asked that they please register the vehicle in MD where I live since I was not using their financing & I was told via email IN ALL CAPS that in order to do so, I’d have to return to the dealership for a 3rd time to re-sign all of the paperwork and also pay the difference between MD & VA registration fees via cash. After spending over 60k and having 2 terrible experiences in 2 days, I obviously declined so that I wouldn’t have to take another 3hr trip and feed more money into this place. Not once did they offer/agree to accommodate me even-though I spent so much money and had terrible experiences. The least they could do after all of the inconveniences is to properly register my vehicle in the state that I live without me having to make a 3rd 3hr trip and give them more money. Now I’ll have to transfer and repay for registration fees myself when I already paid this dealership to do it. Once they get you to buy the vehicle, you have to fend for yourself literally. If I could give negative stars, I would. I haven’t received an apology from them but I don’t even want one because that won’t fix any of these issues. It’s unfortunate because my sales guy Anthony was actually great to work with but everyone else was terrible and doesn’t care about customer service. Please save yourself the headache & stay away! This was hands-down the most unprofessionally any company has treated me in my life. I spent an entire day on the phone trying to purchase a vehicle with a salesperson who knew absolutely nothing and a manag has treated me in my life. I spent an entire day on the phone trying to purchase a vehicle with a salesperson who knew absolutely nothing and a manager who wouldn’t even talk to me when I requested it. Everyone has to have a first day, but this guy not only seemed to know nothing about the sales process, he didn’t know anything about the vehicle either. He gave me incorrect answers every single time. To his credit he occasionally told me he would get back to me with certain answers, but he never did. Eventually we agreed on a price and I said, “Okay, sold.” He put me on hold for nearly 20 minutes and then came back with a price nearly $1,500 more than he had quoted and we had agreed upon. This happened twice, each time the price was higher and higher. The sales person never should have been allowed to answer questions without someone shadowing him. His manager, Sky wouldn’t even talk to me. I wanted to point out the mistakes on their website that ultimately led to the salesman misquoting me. Or perhaps he could explain to me if I was misinterpreting it, but he wouldn’t even get on the phone with me. The only way I ever got to talk to a manager was when I called the main number and asked for their corporate phone number. I was put on hold so many times I started to think this was some kind of sales tactic to break me down. I dealt with the sales manager, Chad at this point and eventually we agreed on a price and I said, “Sold.” He emailed me financing paperwork and I sent it back early the next morning. We had a few brief emails back and forth to keep the ball rolling, and then eventually...nothing. He quit responding to me. I called and got hung up on half the time by their system. (“Press 4 to hear a directory.” I press 4. “I’m sorry you have chosen an invalid option. The operator is not available.” Click, they hung up on me. Occasionally it would send me to a generic voicemail and then say, “The voicemail box is full.” Click they hung up on me. I was able to leave a voice message a few times, but didn’t receive a call back. I finally reached the salesman on the third night. He told me they were really busy with customers yesterday. I’m a customer, and I was trying to buy a car a day before all of them. I received an email the next morning (day 4) from the salesperson saying that his manager was still working in it. I replied, “Well make sure it happens today because the $1,000 rebate expires.” And then the final straw: An email from the manager, Chad saying, “We have higher offers on the (type of vehicle redacted) that we will pursue.“ I have made several more attempts to reach them by phone all to no avail. Run kicking and screaming from any business that treats a customer like this. Sadly it is painfully obvious that this attitude and lack of customer care is coming from the top: I have called several times and asked to speak to the General Manager and I’m told he is away from his desk. He has never called me back. There are plenty of other places to purchase vehicles. This is one that I wouldn’t even consider. More
