Wardell Mitchell is my sales representative and Nick Vasquez is my service representative. I purchased a new Custom Chevy Silverado in July 2021 from the dealership in July 2021. I found the vehicle I Vasquez is my service representative. I purchased a new Custom Chevy Silverado in July 2021 from the dealership in July 2021. I found the vehicle I wanted on line first, and went in to this dealership where it was published as located and pretty much got it for the advertised price. Wardell and the financial manager I worked with were EXCEPTIONAL. So much so, that I traded in that I called Wardell for a trade in deal on that vehicle for a 2022 Chevy Silverado. I did nothing except tell Wardell the features I wanted. He had a vehicle waiting for me in a couple of days, which I LOVED. I love my new 2022 Jet Black Chevy Z71 Silverado. It is a beauty and I got brand new off the delivery truck during Covid 19 during a new truck shortage. I don't know how he did it, but I was very pleased. Like the last time, the financial manager worked with my credit to get me a deal that I am very comfortable with and can afford. I took the vehicle in for the first service in March 2022. I am always anxious about going to the service shop because I don't know which service representative to go. But this time I was IMMEDIATELY greeted by Nick Vasquez. He was professional and ensured the service went smoothly. All of the staff in the service center are professional and it is a clean service center. However, Nick is EXCEPTIONAL. He ensured my vehicle got a free wash according to my lifetime warranty. He ensured it was returned to me with my seat in the position I left it in, that my radio was off as I had left it, and there were no protective papers on the floor or my seat when I got it. He came and got me from the waiting room, AND escorted me to my vehicle that was waiting for me parked nearby outside. No other service rep has ever escorted me to my vehicle. And I always had to look for my vehicle or wait for someone to find and bring my vehicle around after the service was completed. Going forward I will always look for Nick. He made me feel welcomed and comfortable and had me promptly in and out within a reasonable time. More
FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!SCAM!!I was searching online for FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! SCAM!! I was searching online for a new tahoe and came upon a dealership in MD called Ourisman Chevrolet of Rockville, and it FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!! SCAM!! I was searching online for a new tahoe and came upon a dealership in MD called Ourisman Chevrolet of Rockville, and it had a Tahoe that I was interested in for $64,330.00 after the $500 rebate. I hit the button for it to text/email them that I am interested. I got a call from Tomas Carlo, saying that they can secure me the car if I fill out the credit app (I have first dibs) and he also said that they don’t sell cars from under people because this person offers more, etc. So I filled out the credit app and text him that it was done and does that now mean that I have first dibs on the car? Tomas replied with well we have to agree on a price and paperwork is signed.. ok?? So I said ok and he called me up and nonchalantly mentioned the price being $69,330.00 and I stopped him and told him no the jprice online on their website stated $64,330.00 and he then flipped a switch and became very immature. I told him it was false advertisement and that he can’t just mark it up on a whim. He already pulled my credit and took a hit to my credit score on false advertisement. He then stated he would have to speak with his manager and see about the price but he “may not be able to eat for a few days”. When he called me back he confirmed he did in fact pull the credit but since I’m not willing to pay the $69,330.00 someone else will. So I asked to speak to someone above him who then called me and his name was Bryce. Bryce said that online they post the car at MSRP and when it arrives they mark it up $5,000.00 I then said ok well then I will buy it at MSRP while it is in transit and somehow I wasn’t able to do that either???? Oh and he hung up in my face- which I just made this all the more fun. Basically, I’m over here screaming SCAM and FALSE ADVERTISEMENT at the top of my lungs if you wanted $69,330.00 for the tahoe put the price that to start with and don’t waste people’s time and DEFINITELY don’t run their credit “because it secures the car”. Thank you for coming to my TED talk and have a great day :) oh PS, I hope Tomas doesn’t go hungry. More
The sales manager drops the ball .. I have bought 3 cars from Ourisman dealership since 2018 when I bought my truck I was told by the salesman that I would have basic ONSTAR service for as long as I owned from Ourisman dealership since 2018 when I bought my truck I was told by the salesman that I would have basic ONSTAR service for as long as I owned the truck. I have been battling with ONSTAR for a couple of months now because they keep turning it off. I finally reached my patients and went into the showroom to talk to the sales manager about it and he told me that he would call me back. I waited a week and still no callback, so, I went back in, but he was out of the office. I left my name and number again and still no callback...my guess it's easier to get new customers than keep the ones you have ....for now probably true! I will not be back to buy any more vehicles from Ouisman.. we all are busy but at the end of the day the customer votes with their wallet. More
This review comes a couple years late, but as I just went through a much better buying experience at another dealership, I felt it was worth revisiting my awful experience with Ourisman Chevrolet of Rockvill through a much better buying experience at another dealership, I felt it was worth revisiting my awful experience with Ourisman Chevrolet of Rockville. It started out pleasant enough. I worked with Bruce, a sales person/manager, over email to start talking numbers. We arranged for a test drive, but when I got there, he was tied up, so he had a new junior salesperson work with me. He had trouble finding the keys for the test drive, and someone else at the dealer thought it was appropriate to quite publicly belittle him in front of me -- and not in a playful way. I felt bad for the salesperson and awkward standing there. Not a great start. After a short test drive with the salesperson, I ended up taking the vehicle for an extended ride so I could take it home to show it to my wife. I brought it back later that evening with the intent just to drop of the vehicle and to let them know I wanted it and would come back the next day to finalize things. I had my two young children with me, who wanted to ride in "the new car". I was also going to pick up dinner. Enter Bruce, now freed up from his earlier responsibilities. I let Bruce know everything is great and I'll be back the next day to finalize the deal we'd worked on. At that point, Bruce tells me that if I don't buy the car that night, he was trashing our deal. Mind you, this was the middle of the month. No quotas to be met; no sales programs scheduled to end. Bruce just decided he was going to strong arm me. The vehicle was a special edition, so I wasn't sure if I could find it elsewhere (I could have, in retrospect). So I ended up moving forward begrudgingly. My young boys were forced to sit there, without dinner, as I did paperwork till 9 pm (an hour and a half after I got there), even after he promised they would expedite the process. I felt duped, and like a horrible parent. I left the dealership that night already resenting my new vehicle. I regret to this day that I didn't just walk out and buy the car elsewhere or get another vehicle from another maker altogether. I vowed never to return to this dealership or even service my car there, and I kept that promise. I just got rid of that vehicle and had a much better buying experience this time around (shoutout to Sheehy Ford Lincoln of Gaithersburg). More
