The service department really needs some looking into. We had a battery replaced under warranty about a year or so ago. Now the battery is worthless again. I go into service and they tried to tell me We had a battery replaced under warranty about a year or so ago. Now the battery is worthless again. I go into service and they tried to tell me nothing was wrong with the battery( which had already been tested by our mechanic and said it was bad to take it back to Nissan) then turned around to tell me they would put a battery but they wouldn’t warranty a battery that had already been replaced. So this tells me they have crappy parts and won’t stand behind them. That’s ok this battery has cost them another sale as I won’t be buying from them again. Plus I will be sure to let everyone I know how they do business. More
It infuriates me I’m obligated to even give 1 star. Orr Nissan of Hot Springs definitely does a great job of appearing to be professional, customer-driven, and a business of integrity. When in all a Orr Nissan of Hot Springs definitely does a great job of appearing to be professional, customer-driven, and a business of integrity. When in all actuality they are glorified con artists and scammers. Their promos and ads on social media platforms are not even remotely honored. They are just a tactic to get you in the door. Then you are left with an empty promise left unfulfilled and an inquiry on your credit report. Whatever happened to good old fashioned honesty and full-disclosure? What is the actual point of wasting someone’s time like that? I would imagine that some people do not have the ability to advocate for themselves and would cave on these borderline criminal tactics and deals. Perhaps some are in situations where they are desperate and businesses like Orr Nissan of Hot Springs capitalize on that desperation. Either way, it’s nefarious and disgusting. Honor your word, deals, and promotions that you put out there. Moving forward, I will personally go out of my way to share my experience with any person who will listen. Not one person deserves this type of treatment. More
Update of the review that starts with my parents getting older. I would recommend everyone stay FAR AWAY from this place. Going back for the 6th and finally time anyone would think it would be enough, but it wasn’t. I don’t know why, but they seemed like they just didn’t want to find and repair the noise. They were annoyed that we had the nerve to expect them to repair the problem. The noise that we originally took it over for is still there, but now multiple warning lights on the dashboard have come on and there’s a noise coming from the back. It’s well worth taking your vehicle to Benton, Little Rock, or even another state If you’re helping a relative or even if it’s your own vehicle. I just wanted to warn everyone before they make the mistake. I should have taken it somewhere else after the second or the third time. I have caused my parents to miss doctor’s appointments and a tremendous amount of stress worrying. More
My parents are getting older and have multiple health issues. They have several doctors appointments every week. I want to make sure they have a safe and reliable vehicle so I’ve been helping them make p issues. They have several doctors appointments every week. I want to make sure they have a safe and reliable vehicle so I’ve been helping them make payments on a Rogue. My dad heard a noise coming from the front passenger side that started a few months ago. My dad can hardly hear anything so we were surprised he could hear it. I drove their vehicle and heard the same noise. It was like a scraping noise or the sound of a flat tire each time the tire would make a complete rotation. We made an appointment to get whatever problem was repaired. We were told there was nothing wrong with it. It continued to make noise. We called and were told to bring it back in. I took it back in and drove it with an employee, but it was raining and we weren't able to hear it. It continued to make noise when it wasn’t raining, so dad took it back in. They called dad shortly after he dropped it off and said they couldn’t find anything. It was becoming frustrating because we had taken it in 3 times at that point and the warranty was getting closer to expiring due to the mileage. The noise only started to become louder. We made an appointment and took it in for the fourth time. We were happy because they said it was the axle and they would replace it. We noticed the noise wasn’t gone and not only was louder, but the vehicle started to shake. It wouldn’t have been so aggravating if it was my vehicle, but it was my elderly parents who depended on their only vehicle to get them back and forth to doctor’s appointments. My parents live 30 minutes out of town and not only do we have to find someone to follow us back and forth, but we have to find someone to stay with mom because of her health. We were told each time they had loaner vehicles, but each time, none was available. Months later and we made our 5th appointment. It was raining and knew they would need to hear the noise before being able to find a solution. So, I canceled. We had someone we knew look under the vehicle and said there was grease coming out of the bearings. They thought that was odd because usually the axle and the bearings are all sold and installed together. Sometimes the bearings can be reused after having a lot of grease pressed into them and then covered with a boot. This would only be temporary. A week ago or on May the 12th at 8am, I drove it over for the 6th time for the same problem. I asked Gegit if I needed to ride with someone so they could hear the problem and I also showed her pics of the bearings that had grease coming out of them. She said they didn’t need me to ride with them and the pics would be all she needed. Gegit had told me that I would need to drop it off. I did and waited for a phone call. I didn’t receive a call so I called and I was told they did not have the part and would need to order it. She said I could drive the vehicle and it was safe to drive when the bearings were bad.I called the following day and was told parts are delivered at 3:30pm each day and they wouldn’t have time to replace it before they closed. I know there are several employees there, but I started worrying about how long it would take after we would call and sometimes hear they were waiting for the part or they haven’t found what was wrong. So I called to ask what part they ordered so I could take it to Little Rock to be repaired so my parents wouldn’t have to go without a vehicle. We are told the manager or someone will call us back multiple times a day, but literally never do. A week later and absolutely no news. I say we, but I mean dad. Like I said, I could deal with it if it was for me, but it’s a completely different ball game when it’s my elderly parents. So I haven’t called them since last Saturday. Someone actually told my dad when he called, that he should think about getting a new vehicle since this warranty is about out. I was actually getting ready to buy a Nissan. I know where I won’t be buying one. I’ll keep everyone updated for years to come about what we find about this time and any FUTURE problems we have. I’ll give everyone a yearly update on how this Rogue continues to do. They have been worried about driving it for months and they’ve been without a vehicle for a week. Please let me know if you guys think we handled it the right way or if we should or should have handled it a different way. More
This dealership uses dishonest practices to sell cars, to the point of open lies and promises they won’t keep. They won’t even detail your used car after they said they would. If I could give 0 Stars I would. This dealership truly treated my 80 year old parents terribly. They traded a 3 year old Altima in and got a Rougue. They have had 3 Altima’s and this would be their 2nd Ro treated my 80 year old parents terribly. They traded a 3 year old Altima in and got a Rougue. They have had 3 Altima’s and this would be their 2nd Rougue. My wife and I both drive Infiniti’s, so combined we have over 30 years of ownership. Parents found this Rougue inferior to what they previously had and took to dealership and advised. Be aware this is 400 miles and 2 weeks after purchase. Asking what could be done, dealership advised the value is 50% of what they paid. Sure, I believe that, just like I believe they would have gladly bought it and sold for $1000 less than sticker. Low mileage pre owned. We are done with Nissan and especially this dealership. No wonder Orr cannot keep dealerships in cities long, because they do not take care of their loyal customers. More
