Never Again- Horrible Sales Rep and Service I am fresh out of college and have a great new job. I thought I would treat myself to a new vehicle. If this is how buying a new vehicle is- I will ne I am fresh out of college and have a great new job. I thought I would treat myself to a new vehicle. If this is how buying a new vehicle is- I will never do it again in my life. It was the most awful experience I've ever had with a sales representative (Kim Sharpley) and customer service (Hunter Lawrence). I hate that they are making a dime from me- they are just that awful. I came to the dealership knowing EXACTLY what I wanted (a 2014 Ford Focus Titanium Hatchback). The only reason I drove out to Stonewall instead of getting it at a dealership in Shreveport was because I worked at Jimmy Granger's golf course when I was younger and he was always very good to me and told me he would take care of me if I ever needed a new car. Maybe my experience would have been different if I ever could get in contact with him, but I still haven't been able to after over two months from the start of my buying experience to now. So here is what happened: The salesperson did NOT sell me the car, if anything she completely deterred me from wanting to purchase a vehicle from Jimmy Granger Ford. The car I wanted had to come from Oklahoma. I had the hardest time trying to get information or updates and not once did I receive a phone call or text from her updating me on the status of the delivery of my car, I had to call her every time and she rarely knew anything and would say she would call back, and never did. She even told me that she needed a new job; I could not agree more. I was told my car would arrive on a Friday around noon and was not notified that it was not there yet after I had already made arrangements to go pick it up. After I called at noon to find that it was not there, I was told it was supposed to be there that afternoon. Then I call that afternoon to find that it won't be there till Saturday morning (after multiple phone calls and no phone calls back to try and find all of this out). I never received a phone call on Saturday. I just gave up at that point and finally received a text from my "salesperson" (first correspondence I ever received from her) on Monday around noon that said "whn r u comin to get ur car". REALLY?! She acted as if she was doing me a favor by selling me a car. I then come to get my car and my car still had paper and plastic all in it and was not detailed. It also had the wrong wheels on it. Another, much more helpful, man helped me with the wheel situation and even took blame for it (which I knew it was not his fault, at all) and I picked out wheels that were on another Focus to switch out with (still never got the ones I ordered but I like the ones I picked out) and he promised me that the car would be detailed this time when the wheels were being switched out. I got to drive my car home and go to work the next day and my "salesperson" came to pick it up to switch out the wheels while I was at work. I get my car back at the end of the day and it had the right wheels on it but also had 100+ more miles on it and STILL hadn't been detailed and the tank wasn't refilled. WHAT WAS SHE DOING IN MY CAR?! She had the paperwork with her to resign some things because financing through ford (with my name first on the car) fell through, even though I was told it would work and had finished all the paperwork a week prior. She knew my dad was waiting at the dealership to sign off on the papers as well, because he was co-signing with me, and she took an hour+ to get back to the dealership when it only takes fifteen minutes to get there. That left my dad completely hanging and wasting his time. Anyway, I also realized that the signal shell on my passenger mirror is not sealed and holds condensation in it. I came back to the dealership a couple days later and Hunter Lawrence said they had to send pictures to Ford to get a new part sent in. I called a week later and they said they didn't take the right kind of pictures and that I need to send them different pictures. If you're noticing a trend; I never hear anything back. I'm always calling them to get anything done and it is very irritating. By the time they said they had the part in to change it out it was time for my first oil change (I bought an additional maintenance plan with Ford). Before I was able to bring it in I had to go out of town and ended up having a blowout because of an egg in one of the tires. So I brought it in after the weekend to get an oil change, side mirror signal assembly changed out, new tire, and DETAILED because it still had never been detailed after being promised to me twice. I got Hunter to sign an additional piece of paper for me in hopes that it would all be done right this time. I was in a rental for over a week for everything to be done. Hunter made excuses the whole time about how they sent a broken assembly the first time and how Cooper wasn't sending a new tire (there are plenty of Focuses on the lot that you can get an assembly from and a Cooper tire center literally two miles down the road from them. If they tried to get it done quickly they could have very simply). Plus, he made it sound like he was doing me a favor and that they didn't have to do it. So I go to pick up my car and guess what? The car isn't detailed- go figure. I had to get to work though. I get half way to work and my car alerts me that I have low tire pressure... checked the pressure and everything was fine. Apparently, they failed to change out the sensor on the wheel (it's very known that when you have a blowout you have to do this on this make of car). So now I'm driving around with this stupid alert on my screen and NEVER want to go back to that place another day in my life. Plus my car still has stickers everywhere and never has been detailed. I can not explain how displeased I am and I have the rest of my life to tell everyone of my experience. This is a very uncool place to buy a car. More
Tossed around My experience at Jimmy Granger Ford was awful. The customer service was great but, the way my boyfriend and I were tossed around was ridiculous. One My experience at Jimmy Granger Ford was awful. The customer service was great but, the way my boyfriend and I were tossed around was ridiculous. One minute we have the car and the next there was always something else they needed. I thought by having a co-signer it would help you get a car. They explained to me that the co-signer has to be living with you. Not only did I have a trade in truck that was valued at 5,000$ ( which we thought should have been more) with rebates it should have brought the "down payment" to 7,500$. Which then we were told that we had the car, and we synced our name into the car along with the password, the keys were even given to us but then there was something else, clearly. They wanted 3,000 dollars cash in order to get the car. Which would bring the down payment to 10,500$ I am sorry but, I have a 4 month old baby I cannot afford 3,000$ and 10,000 dollars is down payment for a house. I just thought it was very unprofessional that we were thrown around for 14 and a half hours in two days. More
I've bought 3 Vehicle, 07 F-150 crew cab, Traded it in on a 2010 Mercury Mountaineer for my wife, and just traded it in on a 2013 F-150 FX4 Ecoboost. Gator and the finance team worked and worked and fi in on a 2010 Mercury Mountaineer for my wife, and just traded it in on a 2013 F-150 FX4 Ecoboost. Gator and the finance team worked and worked and finially got our note where we wanted it. They sent the truck back to get detailed and all the ins and outs done that they do when you buy a new vehicle and before we left we all looked over the truck and there was a scratch on both doors. They took care of it immediately. The people at Jimmy Granger are great we have never had any problems. They do all of our service. I plan on buying a new truck for myself next year and I will be going to Jimmy Granger. More

Trying to give Jimmy Granger Ford my loyality has proven, time-after-time, to be a waste of time, effort, and MONEY. Last week (the straw that broke ...), instead of using the oil change mailer from Wray F time-after-time, to be a waste of time, effort, and MONEY. Last week (the straw that broke ...), instead of using the oil change mailer from Wray Ford in Bossier for $23, I elected to go to Jimmy Granger and use their mailer for $40. Already you can see I'm stupid by spending an extra $17, I know, but I'm a sucker for loyality. They used to honor Wray Ford's coupons, but evidently that has proven too costly ... and that was fine, because my purpose was to help them stay in buisness. OK, we're writing out the service ticket and I'm telling Terry (one of the service managers) about my $17 loyality. I also tell her that since I just bought the new tires on my car from Jimmy Granger, that I didn't need the tire rotation which was included on the mailer. So she goes off to talk to the head guy - Mr. Ezranek. I'm thinking, "great," she'll get a discount from the $40 oil change with the price of a tire rotation .... with my $8 worth of loyality bucks I've earned, that will still get me back into the $20 price range I had with the Wray Ford mailer. But NO ... NO tire rotation, no discount ... only a full price of $42 plus tax. Yep, as I took my mailers home vowing to never darken their doorway again and getting my oil changed else-where they did wish me (and I them) a Merry Christmas. I had stored Jimmy Granger's phone number in my cell phone because he'd given it to me from a previous incident - this was not the first time I'd run up against their stupidity ... only to find that you can't use that number to call him anymore. So I'm hoping this critique reaches him. Jimmy is a really nice guy. Terry the service manager is a really nice lady, and Mr. Ezranek also is a nice guy. He even offered me a free oil change after he saw how badly his decisions had effected my loyality to Jimmy Granger Ford. So - if you'd have taken the free oil change - you should go out there. What kind of service do you think you'd get?? Screw me once, same on you .... screw me many times, and I keep coming back - SHAME ON ME. Shame-on-me, JD Mast P.S. I've purchased one car, always used them for my service over the past 5-6 years. Do you think I'll take the short drive to Stonewall now? More
