Proceed cautiously, know your deal and their inventory was cautioned by several friends but made a fair attempt to do business with Oracle Ford. I want to preface my review saying this; I am not stating they are a bad dealer, however I do recommend you educate yourself in the type of inventory this dealer favors and also current fair market values. Oracle talks loudly about No CIty Sales Tax and Savings...know your deal... This translates to a profit center for them not savings for you. They carry a heavy inventory of Manufacturer Buy Backs “Lemons”, wrecked/repaired and de-fleeted rental vehicles. This is advantageous for them, not you! Again (KYD) know your deal. When Oracle gets a vehicle that isn’t one the above mentioned they even advertise “This is not a rental!!!” or “ask about special warranties!!!” in the description....KYD!! This is a low volume dealer with high profit margins in the deals they do close. Profit is not a dirty word and they are in business to do business ultimately grow, develop and improve the financial performance of their business. Nothing wrong with this... Unfortunately for me they landed two quality vehicles that fit my search almost perfectly. One a decently equipped XLT that met my every need another Lariat that offered those creature comforts. Today was my third visit to discuss and hopefully close a deal on one of the above. I had a 500PM appointment, showed up at 450 with 2k cash in hand, a title for a possible trade and financing secured for balance. I would have however let them take a stab to see if I could purchase financing with them at a better rate. At 539 I finally walked out the door. To be fair a couple other people provided assistance, water and even Mike (my rep) touched base with me twice while I waited. 39 minutes was too long of a wait for me, it may not not for you but it was in my case. When I realized they jam cell service/data speed so you can’t look up any info while in or near the building I decided it was time to go. Don’t let them trap you into a deal. I came in today willing to soften my pricing expectation slightly and close a FAIR DEAL, one where Oracle Ford made money but also one that didn’t require me to hand over TOO much money. My response was that I could not do without transportation given my wife's condition. The service manager told me that I could rent a car for $30. per day. I subsequently called the dealership manager and left a message but did not get a return call. More
