I’ll never go back to this dealership. I went to test drive a Tiguan. They tried to pull so many sales gimmicks and it seemed like a relay race as three of them took turns talking to me individually to get me to buy. I had enough when they showed me the sheet listing all the numbers and they added $1695 to the advertised price for it being certified. Yet, they advertised it as a certified vehicle! Then they add on about $1200 in dealer fees. They haggled about my trade in value for my vehicle. After seeing the $1695 fee I had enough and left. I later purchased a Tiguan from Napleton VW Sanford where I got a certified vehicle that was a great price, they gave me what I wanted for my trade, and it was a great buying experience. More
Went into this dealership, found the only car on the lot that I wanted with a salesman. Asked to test drive it He sat down and wanted to do a whole information sheer about myself and my trade in and all that I wanted with a salesman. Asked to test drive it He sat down and wanted to do a whole information sheer about myself and my trade in and all I wanted to do was to test drive the car I picked. Asked if we could hold off on the paper work until after the test drive and he said sure. Returned with keys and we started to go to the car I picked, we walked past the car and I said excuse me, this is only car I want to test drive and possibly buy. He said we were going to test drive another one not the one I want to buy. I asked why? No response... I said please get me the keys to the car I want to buy.... He was gone for a long time and returned with Derek a higher up. I explained that I was done and was leaving. Derek started in after I simply said I was done The new salesman never admitted he was wrong and I proceeded to go back and forth with Derek. I told them again I was done with this dealership and I left. Derek and the new salesman jumped into the car I wanted to test drive and rushed it up to the exit in some weird last ditch effort to make things right. What a weird situation. No profanity was used on my part but later I heard I did from the sales manager. Yes, I was mad. Then I explained this to the sales manager and simply defended their actions. Why in the world would I want to test drive a car that I was not interested in buying and they were trying to tell me that I requested to drive any of that model. Such lies. Glad I left that dealership when I did. Just stay away if this is the methods of practice. More
Very disrespectful and arrogant. Not interested in really discussing options in a kind and respectful manner. Manager was a complete liar no integrity. I’ve never felt so disrespected and so stereotyped in my life. We went into Volkswagen South as a return customer, looking to purchase a new car. The general manager, Phillip Dallas, told us (with a straight face) we couldn’t test drive the car until they “ran the numbers” and “we agreed to purchase” the car!!! Who does this? Who buys a car before test driving?! According to the General Sales Manager (Phillip Dallas) VW South is under new management, which is apparent. This was a completely different experience than when we purchased our first car from this dealership approx. 3 yrs ago. Unbelievable. I feel they looked at my husband and I and assumed we couldn’t afford the car. Maybe if they allowed us to test drive the car (as is customary) we would have made an offer and they would’ve seen my husband and I are both working professionals that can easily afford the car. Their loss. We’ll purchase the car elsewhere! More

I know it is something fishy with this place, they did not want to show me proof of history of the car. You can not trust them. I had such a bad experience and now I have to replace the whole transmission wich is going to cost me 5K. Very disappointing, do not buy there ! More
I have emailed and contacted Robert Topping on multiple occasions and have yet to hear back. I have no idea why they say to contact this person, when he avoids all his responsibilities to the customers. Cu occasions and have yet to hear back. As a return customer I thought I would get treated a lot better since the first experience was amazing, I was wrong We were only a couple of thousands away from making the deal work, all they have to do was better since the first experience was amazing, I was wrong We were only a couple of thousands away from making the deal work, all they have to do was go up on my trade so then I could cover the spread and they would not go up. Not happy on how I was treated I feel like a second class citizen. I was told GM said he would get fired if he change anything on the deal that he had already done. take it or leave it so we left and bought it some were else! More
I was lied to on several accounts just so they could get me in the door and waste my time. I feel betrayed, tricked, and blatantly misled. I worked with Omar Arredondo in Sales who I fully disclosed th me in the door and waste my time. I feel betrayed, tricked, and blatantly misled. I worked with Omar Arredondo in Sales who I fully disclosed that I would be leaving my family and business’ for the day to make this deal happen. I sent the dealer my competing offer with the VIN of my trade and all the details they needed including pictures and miles so that they could work on contactless appraisal. He looks over the numbers texts me hours later and tells me that the dealer can beat my trade and my out the door price on the transaction. When I got there Omar tells me that the car is not on the lot and is in transit, also the dealer lowballed me $9000 less then what I was already offered. Insult to injury they also tried to make me believe by falsifying a tire gauge reading saying my tires were bald when clearly they weren’t and little do they know I actually own a tire guage of my own as well and know my way around tread depths in 32nds not red yellow green. To me…my most valuable resource is time, there was blatant disregard and respect of it here at this dealership. If you have a time machine and are able to make more of it then by all means come here and waste it, but for me that’s one resource I cannot make more of. Volkswagen of South Orlando, Omar Arredondo, and his manager Bobby Criddle were dishonest and misleading, Volkswagen Auto Group should seriously take a look at this dealer as they are single-handedly making the brand look bad and I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to anyone! Buyers beware! !!! Bought a 2016 mazda3 from this dealership last month. During the test drive I noticed a vibration when I stepped on the brakes. My salesman said n !!! Bought a 2016 mazda3 from this dealership last month. During the test drive I noticed a vibration when I stepped on the brakes. My salesman said not to worry anything I find they will take care of. Car was priced $2k more than KBB - I wanted financing with Capital One (they preapproved me) but got financing with someone else - payment was $30/more a month than I wanted. The car was sold to me “as is” but salesman again assured me verbally anything I find would be taken care of. Also sending me texts stating the same. When I drove it off the lot the brakes were still not right. Once I got the car on the freeway (waited for my E-PASS) I noticed a horrible shimmy at speeds over 60. Text my salesman telling him about the shimmy - him stating it prob only needs a balancing. I finally made an appointment and took the car back (after driving it less than 300 miles) on may 16th - bought car on may 6th. The vibration on the brakes was the rotors (which I said btw) and the shimmy? TWO bent wheels! The service manager Mr Topper was extremely rude telling me he wasn’t going to cover the repairs since I bought the car “as is” I advised him my salesman insured me anything would be fixed. He stated too bad - telling me I could’ve caused the bent wheels? Finally after arguing they did replace the front rotors but refused to fix the bent wheels. So basically I have a $15k car sitting in my garage that I can’t go over 60mph without a horrible shimmy. The entire car shakes. This dealer sucked and the after the sale action sucked. I am still fighting the channels I can to get them to fix the wheels my final step will be an attorney. They ripped off the wrong person. I never would’ve touched the car if I didn’t know the assurance (verbal and text) from my salesman meant squat More
