I called for two days straigh never talk to a sales rep . After two days they email me that the car has been sold . I express how i felt about the bad service and being left in the dark with and email for the sales manages and directors no response whatsoever. Now i keep getting emails that say rate us or at this moment all you're question should've been answer its there anything else we can help you . I respond with my same email again and still nobody responds. I just think its automated message and looks like the right hand its not talking to the left. Would not recommend giving them your business. More
I’ve had the worst experience ever! Let begin with the sale person Chase. Came to the dealership to look at the vehicle Chase had no knowledge about the vehicle I had to tell him to pop Let begin with the sale person Chase. Came to the dealership to look at the vehicle Chase had no knowledge about the vehicle I had to tell him to pop the hood let me see the engine. I felt like I sold the car to myself I even question about what kind of system is the speakers he had NO knowledge ! Ask about test drive so I could finally make a decision he stated that they just go the vehicle and it would need to had a full service done before test drive. I said ok before I could have drove down the street leaving the dealership here is Chase calling stated you could test drive the car ! I am like how you just said it cannot be until service. I told him have everything ready for the vehicle as I will test drive and will be purchasing the following day. Next day I got a phone call from Brandon Chase boss requesting I send a copy of drivers License and Insurance to speed up the process. All information was sent. At 5:00pm I’ve reach the dealership finally test drive the car and ready to purchase Chase told me everything is done to the car full service , let me tell you I didn’t get out of there until 7:5O pm this is ridiculous as they only have two person on there Financial team. Moving along the next day I notice the vehicle wasn’t tinted which was in the agreement, upon leaving the dealership Chase gave me his personal number and business number stating if anything please call him , and so I did. Chase this car isn’t tinted he stated yes I told him I took the vehicle to a tinted shop and they stated the vehicle isn’t tinted Chase told me I could bring the car about 9:00am on Monday next day to get tinted and would follow up. I am here Monday morning waiting on Chase phone call like crickets I call Chase explain to him my concerns and also requested document of what all was done on full service because he did mention two things that needed to be change . Chase explain to me that he is waiting on answers and is checking with tinting department. At this time I am Frustrated. I was under the impression that while picking up my vehicle, everything was ready. My windows was tinted as in the agreement. I’m upset because I have to drive all the way back over there not only to get it tinted to waste gas to waste toll. I feel this is something, Chase Should have double check as a sales person before the vehicle left the lot. Being that it was dark when I left, I couldn’t have tell if the windows were tinted. Chase Then got frustrated And told me it was his day off. Omg ! No he didn’t . I then made a call to his manager, Brandon explain my frustration and I’ve decided to be refunded for tinted , Brandon explained that he will let me know when the check will be going out. Tell me why 7 days after no response as to did the check went out , calling for Brandon he is not in , yet Frustrated again I have asked for a manager and then spoke with Luis Who’s was very helpful He was able to finally give me a copy of the service that was done to my vehicle, which Chase never followed up instead, sent me a screenshot instead of paperwork. Corporate needs to have Chase fully trained in customer service. I felt like he only wanted to get a sale, and once the sale was done, he was done. Chase Never followed up With me after the purchase, just a courtesy call to see how things are going nothing! This purchase was made on February 10 on February 26. I came to the dealership to pick up my plates not only I had to call to see if the plates are ready. What kinda of Dealership makes you call to see if your place already. This call should be made by the dealership stating a courtesy call saying that we are happy that you purchased from us just letting you know your plates are ready to be picked up. It gets worst. Came into the dealership received plates as I’m inside my vehicle something told me let me look at the paperwork my name is spelled incorrectly WoW You would think that at this point they could do something, cor More
The sales perso. Jason did not represent the car that I purchased correctly I have since sent a long email about a week ago and he did not respond. I kept asking him Jason did not represent the car that I purchased correctly I have since sent a long email about a week ago and he did not respond. I kept asking him three different times if there was a fee to pay a lease off early and he said there is none and yet the fine print on the contract when I had an opportunity to read it says that there is a large fee. They also misrepresented the mileage on the battery of electric car saying it was over 200 and you really can’t go past 180 from 260 to 180 is a huge difference. They want to make the sale and then not follow up. Very disappointing or do not recommend , it was a lot of things that I was not told prior to buying my vehicle More
Dealership sucks! Low ball you on your trade and the overcharge for their vehicle. They also add extras on that you don’t want and they make you pay for it. My experience with the service department at Orlando VW South was extremely disappointing. I brought my wife's car because the Beetle was not able to shift into any gears and it got pretty much in a perman South was extremely disappointing. I brought my wife's car because the Beetle was not able to shift into any gears and it got pretty much in a permanent neutral position. When we delivered the vehicle they advised they would charge $179 for diagnostics, which was acceptable. However, their subsequent actions raised serious concerns. First, they informed my wife that they needed to replace the shifting cable and recommended alignment, totaling over $2,600. I researched the price of the shifting cable for a 2013 VW Beetle convertible, finding it to be around $300 on the official Volkswagen website, being the national average price to replace it, including labor, around $550. When I inquired, the story changed and claimed the high cost was due to the entire housing needing replacement, which was not clear from the initial communication. When I requested an itemized quote, they sent an unbranded Excel spreadsheet that didn't inspire confidence. The pricing for the housing was $1,113.88, part number 5K1-713-025-CL, it was quoted almost twice the price for what you can purchase it at any VW parts store, I'm referring to a genuine VW part, not a knock off. Frustrated, I decided to take the car elsewhere and scheduled a tow. I was told to pay the agreed $179 for diagnostics. However, their payment method was archaic and insecure – I received an email from the mechanic's email address with just a subject line outlining how much I owed and nothing else, I called back and he advises I need to send a picture of my credit card and driver's license for payment because they cannot take payments over the phone or send an online request for payment, I'm not too sure how PCI compliance this practice really is. They charged me $234, citing vague "parts and taxes" costs without transparency. To make matters worse, the second mechanic fixed the issue for just a little over $300, significantly less than the initial quote from the Volkswagen dealership. And he also confirmed he did not need to replace the whole mechanism, not even the shifter cable that was in good shape. This experience left me with the impression that this dealership engages in shady practices, potentially targeting female customers for overcharging for parts and services that are not needed. I strongly advise against using their service department, as you may face overcharges for parts and labor and receive inaccurate information about necessary repairs. Unfortunately, the good name of Volkswagen is being tarnished with this specific dealership and service department. More
This dealership's tactics, at least on the used car side, is why the used car dealer gets such a bad rap for being sleazy and dishonest. I was trying to buy a truck from this dealer from my home in Texas. is why the used car dealer gets such a bad rap for being sleazy and dishonest. I was trying to buy a truck from this dealer from my home in Texas. We had settled on a price after the dealer conceded $300 off the asking price. When they sent me the numbers, though, they had added $3,200 in additional charges, none of which were mentioned before this point. $1,695 for dealer add on items to start. Then there was the $500 license fee followed by the $999.95 predelivery service charge. I'm not a Floridian, but a simple Google search of the transaction fees in Florida shows that the fees should total a little over $180 and not rounded to the penny. $500 is gauging, plain and simple. I might think there were overblown document prep fees in there or something, but that's actually detail as part of the "pre-delivery fees". I guess they were getting that $300 back. Pre-delivery fees for inspecting, cleaning, adjusting, preparing documents, dealer profit is not the honest way to do things. Doc prep is valid, but inspecting, cleaning and basically preparing a used car to be resold and making sure it was in sound condition is just a part of your business. It's a normal cost of doing business. If you haven't already priced that into your list price, then you are being deceitful in putting that price out there, too low in the first place. Price it fairly to what you need to make and stop trying to slip these things in after the fact. Nobody likes these games. Dealer add-ons that include "Club Plus" for a buyer who lives a thousand miles away and $250 for window tint on a vehicle that rolled out new with window tint either from the factory or at the initial dealership? I had two more alternative listings for this exact truck in the same condition at other dealers, but theirs had lower miles After this bit of xx, I went to the second seller in Michigan and by the end of day the truck was purchased. His base price was a little higher, but no games. Price + TTL. That's it. Afterward, I got what was no doubt an automated email from the internet director Kyle Nunez who, would like to, "...personally invite [me] to take a quick minute to read what other customers have said about us by clicking on the link below.", which is how I got to this page. Having arrived here, I see that they have a 2-star rating. Why would you volunteer a link to a place where you have an average 2-star review out of 259 (now 260) respondents? I think I'd probably not draw attention to that. It's not much better on Yelp either. Word to the wise, shop somewhere else. After I responded to them with basically what I said here, they responded (probably automated) and said they they understood I had purchased somewhere else, but please keep in mind their award winning service department. Unbelievable. More

Less than a week later we noticed the Apple CarPlay doesn't function properly, SOS button on ceiling doesn't function, the vehicles microphone that is connected to the Apple phone connected to CarPlay does not work. Issue was addressed less than 7 days after purchasing, we are on 90+ days since the issue was addressed the dealer cannot locate a part, no confirmed delivery. Called corporate and they've said the dealer is the only one who can handle the situation. Regret purchasing this vehicle and from this dealer. More
Wow, what a fantastic experience I had here purchasing my car which was new for me but previously owned. I haven't had this type of experience since Rockhill Pontiac in Delaware in the 90's. I was viewing car which was new for me but previously owned. I haven't had this type of experience since Rockhill Pontiac in Delaware in the 90's. I was viewing their website in looking for a car and found a great car at a great price so I called about it. I worked with a great salesman, Randy. Randy went out to the lot to make sure the car was still there and it was so I went up there. Well as it turns out the car was just traded and not even cleaned up yet to be sold and there was some minor paint that needed touching up. Randy drove the car to me for my test drive. I knew then and there I was buying it. Since Orlando VW South doesn't take deposits to hold a car, I purchased it before it was even ready to be picked up. I could not let this deal go. I went and purchased the car and got a great finance rate. I couldn't have asked for a better finance manager, he is nicknamed 305, since all of his body art came from the 305-area code. He was awesome. Of Couse, all F&I reps try to sell warranties and there was many. But "305" showed me the best one for me and it was not the most expensive, but another 5 years/60K miles bumper to bumper. That's a great product, since I'm sure German parts are probably not the cheapest. They don't have a body shop (maybe in the new place I hope) they only paint on Wednesdays. During their safety check they found a door latch that needed to be replaced. I've heard of dealerships alleging safety inspections but to be so detailed they checked the door latches, simply amazing. Randy kept me up to date daily and when the car was ready, he delivered it to me at my home. They are getting ready to move to a new showroom closer to Florida Mall, so don't be like me. I went in and started to judge the dealership by its appearance. It's not dilapidated by any means; it is just an older building. Their new service department is something I can't wait to see. Don't know if I mentioned it, but while your car is in the service department, you get text messages with updates. The whole experience was just AMAZING I would DEFINITELY recommend them. I am sure all the sales staff are great, of course I will always go back to Randy. When you purchase your vehicle ask for "305" and tell him I said hello. More
