Orlando Genesis

I contacted Orlando Genesis via their "request a test drive " form Orlando Genesis website. I was promptly contacted by the internet sales manager Heather who was helpful and set my appointment up with f drive " form Orlando Genesis website. I cleaned out my truck incase a deal was made then took the very long drive to Orlando. When my GPS said I had arrived I could find no mention of Genesis anywhere. No signs of any kind at first glance so I just made the assumption it was somewhere in the Hyundai dealership. I walked up to the "VIP desk" (it actually says VIP appointments) for my appointment asking for my rep and was told "Heather who" which was very odd since all email correspondence said "Internet Sales Manager". There was a guy standing there that said oh that's the internet department. He said I could work with anyone. I said I would prefer to work with the rep I started with but I was informed she was just part of a lead generation service and that I get a rep when I get there so I can work with anyone. Okay that is all a little weird but whatever let me get a rep please. Some dude comes out of the back that appears to have just been woken up from the staff break room recliner and seemed a bit put out to have to speak with me. In all fairness I look like I just walked in from panhandling so this is not an unusual experience for me. He starts asking me all the questions I have already provided on forms and communications with the phantom internet sales manager Heather. I ask him to get my info from the system since I was there by appointment for a particular car. He said what system.... being short fused I asked for a manager. He walked over to the bullpen/pitboss area and a meeting was had. After a few moments I walked towards the huddle and one of the managers came over to talk to me. I did confront him a bit loudly and I was overheard by a couple sitting in the waiting area (more on them in a min) to which he attempted to calm me down from my Karen moment and he got my info from the receptionist. He informed me the car I had an appointment for was on a test drive... The car I had scheduled and drove 2 hours for was on a test drive.... He did not see an issue with this and honestly I can see how that is the case from his point of view but I wasn't having it. Any g70 please. Can I please just test drive any g70 after driving all this way. Yes he responded and he got a rep to get me a test drive right away. Whew ok back on track. I had to run to my truck to get my wallet and I came across the couple that was sitting there during my tantrum and they said "You said everything we were thinking". Apparently they had been there over an hour waiting for the test drive they had schedualed and they had the exact same issue as me. The car they setup to drive was on a test drive. They were then told they would have to goto another lot for the version they wanted. They were as baffled as me as to xxx was going on. I went out on the test drive and as we pull back in the one I came to see is sitting there. The sales rep said oh look its back. I asked him if I could drive it now and he said sure and had me sit in the one I originally came to see while he went in to get the keys...about 30 minutes later ( prob more like 5 mins) he comes back out and says the person that test drove it is buying it (this vehicle has been on the lot over 40 days) what bad luck do I have! He says they have another one and we head over to the other side of the lots to check it out. It was not at all the same. Black and white and exactly there opposit but apparently they are the same since I was there to purchase a black vehicle and he was showing me a white vehicle. It was like the twilight zone. I was done and hit the road for my 2 hour journey back home. Half way home my phone rings and its the dealership. The deal fell through the car is available if I want to come back.... Cant make this up. HARD PASS!!!! More
