Will not be playing ball with them I spoke to the net sales person a couple of times before actually coming into the dealership , We discussed a 2002 toyoa camry that had 20 something t I spoke to the net sales person a couple of times before actually coming into the dealership , We discussed a 2002 toyoa camry that had 20 something thousand miles on it ( vehile was advertised on web site as well) . I decided to go take a look at the car and made my way to the dealership. I was greeted by a friendly helpful sales man who after hearing my reason for coming in went and got the vehicle for me to test drive ( without discussion of how much I was putting down b4 I even seen the vehicle, I liked that) . As we stood outside in the 20 degree weather looking at the car a gentleman opened the door to the dealership and yelled to my sales man that the vehicle could not be taken for a test drive because it has to go through service . He then shut the door . Well after working in retail.for 14yrs myseelf , I turned to my sales man and simply said ..." that was rude" . No im sorry sir the vehicle has to go through service , it will be serviced by this date, we will give you a call as soon as it is ready for a test drive. Instead I hear the guy who never spoke to me tell my sales man as I stood there next to him say " show him the 03 camry" , lol . The 03 that as I looked at the computer screen saw it had 100,000 plus miles on it . I proceeded to ask my sales man what the problem was , did this guy not want to sell me the car that was posted on the net , that I discussed prior with the net sales person via phone and email?? I understand mistakes happen in sales , but its how you rebound with that customer after the shot is missed . I would have been more than satisfied with a direct coversation from "the guy" , where he would have acknowledged me as a customer/human being and just took my name and number and let me know when a test drive would have been possible. Well as I told my sales man there are plenty of courts along Lagrange and looks like ill be taking my game elsewhere thanks to "the guy" . More
