The 1 Hour & 45 minute Oil Change I got an early appointment because I do not like going when things are backed up. I was told by the tech it would be about 1 hour. Why bother with making an appointment? In addition, I needed a tire pressure sensor re[placed. I was quoted a price of nearly $200. I asked why so high and the response was: "the part is expensive and labor was $99". Seemed awful steep to have a tire removed, sensor swapped and tire mounted. I went down the street to "Just Tires" sensor was $60 and labor was $9.00. In and out is 15 minutes. More
Dealership declining in setvice I got there early for my appointment and was told to wait in my car as they moved 3 other cars to the back. No other customers were visible. After 15 minutes I left my vehicle and went indoors to warm up. I was finally helped. 2.5 hours later I was called to the service desk. I have always brought paperwork and all previous workers have come to me so I packed up all my papers, went to the front to be told I had $1000 of work needed. I was in for an oil change and tire rotation after just having my 100,000 mile service at my last visit where I was told my car was in great shape, all greens. This guy tells me my rear brakes are in the red and it will cost $500 just to fix that issue. When I questioned how they went from green to red he said they deteriorate quickly when not adddressed when they need repair - I reminded him I was told they were in the green at the last visit. Also each time I’ve gone in I gave charges showing different oil being used - sometimes synthetic, sometimes not. I’m concerned about my past charges but also the damage being done to my vehicle by mechanics swapping oil. I was informed my nights aren’t blue so they need to be fixed - my lights have never been blue. My model is amber yet the guy was pushing me to replace them. He wanted me to replace filters just done months ago. Seems this dealership is out to get money not actually properly service vehicles. This is the third visit I’ve had issues with in 12 months - no longer a fluke. After I told the guy I wasn’t getting the work done today but asked for a copy of his printout with the work/costs...he had me wait another 30 minutes - then called me back to the service desk. He refused to give me prices. I asked for a record of all the services/charges since I purchased my vehicle. He refused and would only give me a TIF. At that point I let him know I have relatives who work for Toyota and they’ve been questioning this dealership after I complained with my last visit - time for Toyota to check Orland Toyota’s dealership! I believe you’ve compromised my car, overcharged me, attempted bamboozling me to have repeat services for unnecessary things sndcregused me the records ive requested. Big no no! More
