I had an unexpectedly nice expirience at this dealership. Al worked with me to get me a good deal. There was NO "I have to ask my manager" to wheel and deal with me. Al worked with me to get me a good deal. There was NO "I have to ask my manager" to wheel and deal with me. More
I came to this Toyota dealership along with several others in search of buying a car. I talked to Chris Fischer concerning a vehicle. Ultimately, I did buy a Toyota but not from this dealership. A mo others in search of buying a car. I talked to Chris Fischer concerning a vehicle. Ultimately, I did buy a Toyota but not from this dealership. A month after purchasing a car I had a sync issue with my car system and cell phone. I happened to be in the Orland area and figured I may be able to get help from one of the tech people. I thought that they may help even though I did not get my vehicle at this dealership. My thought was that they still represent the brand and I may consider them to service my new Toyota. I asked a person to help sync my phone and the person went out to help me. When he was in my vehicle helping me, Chris Fischer abruptly stuck his head in the window and told the person not to help me because I did not get my Toyota at their dealership. I asked Chris was he joking and he said he was not. I promptly went inside and asked for the manager. I began to explain my issue to the manager but asked could we talk privately. He said that he had end of the month paperwork to do and could not. I left the dealership feeling bad and disrespected. It was like Mr. Fischer was bitter toward me. I have bought two cars from Toyota spending over $60,000 and have never been treated so bad by a vendor. I would not recommend this dealership or Orland Toyota to anyone. I am certainly going to follow up with Toyota as high as I can go until I get satisfaction. I have a 2012 Toyota XLE that I am proud of, but this incident leaves a bad taste in my mouth. More
Orland Toyota is non aggressive. I never felt pushed into a deal. The price was what it was and you were allowed to take it or leave it. All calls were returned promptly and my Toyota was deliverd in a timel a deal. The price was what it was and you were allowed to take it or leave it. All calls were returned promptly and my Toyota was deliverd in a timely manner. I was informed about the progress of my vehicle and given the opportunity to accept or reject options. Information was provided about these options. None pushed to be accepted. All in all a pleasant experience. More

Chris was very helpful and professional. I have been to other dealers that have been very pushy. Chris was not like that at all. There were some problems with getting answers after I bought the car, but on other dealers that have been very pushy. Chris was not like that at all. I purchased a 2003 Jeep Wrangler last fall. The first time I went to use the rear window wipers I discovered the Jeep had an electrical problem. Neither the rear defroster nor wipers were hooked up. Wh time I went to use the rear window wipers I discovered the Jeep had an electrical problem. Neither the rear defroster nor wipers were hooked up. When I received a call from my salesman, Ted, to see how I liked my Jeep, I informed him of the problems and I got no help from him. I then went to have a Jeep dealer look at it to see if they could repair it. They figured it out but ran into problems because the top of the Jeep was not a 2003, but from an older model. I then called to speak to a manager at Toyota to tell them about the $500 cost to fix the wiring on the Jeep. I got the run-around and ended up having to personally go into the dealership to speak to a manager. He told me about their disclaimer, but assured me he would talk to his manager to see if they could do anything and would give me a call. Since the head manager was out-of-town, it was a couple of weeks and a couple of calls later when I was finally told that they wouldn't be able to help me. I caution potential buyers that Orland Toyota is a "buyer-beware" dealership - customer satisfaction is NOT their priority! If you see a used vehicle on their lot and must have it: 1. Check all options and equipment listed on the window sticker. Make sure every item advertised on the car sticker works. Also be sure to read the disclaimer which, in laymen terms, reads - if you don't address any problems before you pay for it, they're now your problems! 2. Don't believe the salesman when he says the technicians checked the vehicle out. If you spot a problem, have the technician repair it before you buy it! Just to compare the difference between Orland Toyota and dealerships that strive for customer satisfaction, my son purchased a used vehicle from a dealership in Lansing. After he got the car home he realized the CD player wasn't working. He called his salesman and an appointment was set up for him to bring the car in. They provided him with a loaner car and when the CD player couldn't be fixed, they put in a new one. There was no charge and no questions asked! Now that's a dealership I would recommend and go back to - Orland Toyota is definitely NOT! More
