I needed an emissions/inspection on my Sienna. At the service center there was some confusion on the price as I had a discount option available to me. I think this was going above and beyond considering they could of just adjusted the price correctly. George always seems to want all customers to leave happy and have a good experience. I drove from California to Utah to visit my family on an extended vacation for the holidays. When I saw the check engine light, I had not yet found Brent Brown Toyota. I researched it on the internet; I have friends and family who work on cars here in Utah and in California; and I looked at every possibility for fixing my car since it is an expensive repair. My Prius is 5 years old and I have driven it 138,000 miles. It has been an amazing and wonderful car and I would like to keep it forever! I drive it very little here in Utah so I took my time figuring out where to have it fixed. I found Brent Brown Toyota on the internet, called the service department and spoke with Aaron Collister, who was very professional and friendly, and as a result of that conversation, I scheduled an appointment to have my car diagnosed at the dealership to make sure there were no hidden codes that non-Toyota computers would miss. It was, indeed, the catalytic converter that needed replacement. Since cost is an issue for me, I asked Aaron about possible options for the repair. After discussing the situation, it became apparent that "after market parts" would not be the way to go since experience showed that those parts do not last long and subsequent repair could need to be made a year later. I realize that the Prius is a unique car and repairs should be handled by mechanics well-versed in the knowledge of hybrid cars. So I told Aaron I would figure out my budget and make an appointment during the week of November 18th. When I called to set up the appointment, Aaron had already left the dealership. Gail Nicholson took over and she was a wonderful representative of the dealership, extending professional and friendly service to me. This repair was a big deal for me! In the future, I will look forward to working with Gail Nicholson again because she handled my situation with care and concern. My car is back to normal (which means great!!) and I developed a great deal of confidence in the Brent Brown Toyota Dealership because of my encounters with Gail and Aaron in the service department. My daughter in law and I took my Toyota 4 Runner out this past weekend on the deer hunt. He can usually fix anything so he went and checked it out. He wasn't very happy when he told me we had to take it to a dealer to have it looked at. We live in Price so the closet place is Brent Brown in Orem. This didn't help the situation, however, he called and they were able to get us in Monday morning! Luckily I had meetings in SLC Monday morning! When I got there, they took us right in, they were very friendly and said they would be done around early afternoon, probably around 2:00 p.m. I told them that would be fine. I left for my meetings. I got a call from Mike at 1:59 saying that my car was all done. One of the fears that my husband had is that the cost would be over $800.00 to have it checked out or fixed. When Mike called he said, I don't want you to be surprised by the amount so I'm telling you, the total is, $459.35. How nice is that! Needless to say both my husband and I were very pleased! When I went to pick up my vehicle, again they were very friendly and nice! They explained everything they had done, so I could plain it to my husband, asked if I had any questions or concerns, and then they gave me a coupon for a free car wash! I was met by George Brown, and I told him of the noise I was hearing in my car. He immediately took the car out for a drive, and he heard the noise, too. Because I was in for my 10,000 mile service on my new car, he told them to check carefully to see why there was that noise. When I got my car back, they said it was OK - no mention of the noise. That was on Wednesday, 9/11. On Friday, 9/13, the noise was considerably worse and the car didn't respond well. I took it back on Monday, 9/16. This time they told me there was a chip in the rotor. My question was, why didn't they tell me that on Wednesday when I was in there? It would have been helpful to know about the problem on the 11th, rather than having to wait until the 16th. More
