I was disappointed with my service this time at OC Infiniti. I bought my car there and also paid for an extended warranty plan in 2016. Since then, I have taken my car for service and checks regularly Infiniti. I bought my car there and also paid for an extended warranty plan in 2016. Since then, I have taken my car for service and checks regularly. I always felt that I was getting an honest car service deal and was treated fairly . This past time (June 2020), I feel that the service department really tried to take advantage of me (maybe because I was a woman?). Upon leaving my car with the service department, the rep quoted me $750 for rear shocks. I had refused the service last time and I know I needed them to be changed this time around. I thought that was a bit high but I said “okay” and left my car there for the day. I few hours later, I received a email from the OC Infiniti dept asking me to “approve” or “deny” suggested service. This time around, they wanted to charge me over $1600 for rear shocks. I was taken by surprise and had my husband call and decline service. The service representative tried to talk his way out of it and tried to work another price out but the damage was already done. I don’t like to be taken advantage of or have people try to screw me over. I’m super disappointed with their dishonesty. The next day I took my car to goodyear and had my shocks changed for $500. I like OC Infiniti and have been pleased with their service for almost 4 years. I still have my warranty for my car with them but I am very wary and will just stick to the basics. More
