If you ask for an estimate, don’t be surprised if you are charged for it. I dropped Buick off for an estimate for repair. The service advisor told me the repair could not be completed because the Buick Part charged for it. I dropped Buick off for an estimate for repair. The service advisor told me the repair could not be completed because the Buick Part was no longer in production. I stopped by to pick up the car and was told the paperwork wasn’t ready. The service advisor asked me to come back on a different day when I went to pick up the vehicle I received a $300 bill for an estimate when I complained I was told I had to pay the bill to receive my vehicle. The service advisor handed me a receipt for the vehicle on. It was an order to repair the vehicle. I did not request the work nor did I authorize the work, you have to work was completed without my authorization and I was charged $300. More
