EXCELLENT SERVICE AND CORDIAL STAFF I personally approach dealerships with a lot of skepticism having had past bad experiences. From incompetence to just plain rudeness. But I am happ I personally approach dealerships with a lot of skepticism having had past bad experiences. From incompetence to just plain rudeness. But I am happy to report that Open Road has met my expectations. Being a new dealership, I was concerned with staffing and technical knowledge base. And please understand, not all dealerships are the same. For my 2016 Tahoe, which I had purchased there, I was not as concerned. But having just bought a 2017 Corvette I was very concerned. Unlike the Tahoe, the Corvette requires specialty tools and equipment, not to mention special training. Many dealerships do not bother to invest in this as they sell very few Corvettes, and I have to say, Open Road is not a high volume dealer for Corvettes. But after having my Corvette serviced there for its first 500 mile oil change, I questioned the service rep on the procedure and he came back with all the right answers. As my car was being serviced, I met the mechanic and started a conversation, asking him about his training and what equipment he had for the Corvettes. To my amazement, this dealership had everything I knew about and he was a certified Corvette technician. He also gave me a lot of insights to the car and was very knowledgeable. So, bottom line, if this dealership had invested in all this extra equipment and have techs trained in a low volume car for them, I have to believe they will have all the bases covered for any car in the fleet. Time will tell, but so far, I am confident in bringing my cars to Open Road. More
