But what a shame that a big corporate like open road preffer to save and cut corners on something super important like the cleaning of the new cars for delivery. In my case im in the car detailing business and made a huge request to my sales rep to Make sure the vehicle was clean the right way upon our arrival to pick up the new car. Once we arrived to the dealer walk around the new car and found multiple spots that werent clean. I mentioned to my sales person and i was shock when his answer was oh sorry but our detail guys dont get pay much that i should clean it since im In the car detailing business . Im sorry to hear that but i think that has nothing to do it shouldnt even be part of the conversation … Dealers dont forget as custumers we are paying for new cars we expect that new car smell new car look experienced. BEWARE, dealership hid facts about the 2024 BMW iX they sold my husband. He leased a 2024 iX (it’s a loaner with 6k miles). After taking possession of the car, he found paperwork stating that the tires a sold my husband. He leased a 2024 iX (it’s a loaner with 6k miles). After taking possession of the car, he found paperwork stating that the tires are very close to the minimum tread depth allowed for sale in the state of NJ. In addition, the paperwork states that 2 of the tires were plugged. None of these things were disclosed to him prior to or during the signing of the paperwork for the purchase of the vehicle. After finding this paperwork he took the vehicle to our personal mechanic whom checked the vehicle and told him that all 4 tires will need to be replaced within the next 6 months and that the alignment is also off. He contacted Open Road BMW of Edison and asked them to change the tires and perform the alignment and they refused. When paying $84,000 for a vehicle, one should not have to replace tires and perform an alignment within 6 months of purchasing the car. More
I had a very unpleasant experience working with sales named Igor Deychman: we placed an order of X5 40i and we were planning to finance it. Initially Igor gave us a rate of 5.76% without negotiation per named Igor Deychman: we placed an order of X5 40i and we were planning to finance it. Initially Igor gave us a rate of 5.76% without negotiation per his word. Later that day we checked the rate on Open Road website for this model is 4.99%. We called Igor about this and he got back with 4.99% as a new rate. After that we found out on the BMW website they offer 3.99% on this model, we called Igor again and he instantly agreed with the 3.99%. When we asked for paper confirmation of the final rate he refused and said there's no such document. Within a few hours the rate dropped twice without any explanation. Obviously Mr. Igor's words contradicted each other. During our test drive (hybrid model X5), we asked how to replace the battery after 8 years of lifespan, he said "I don't know, most BMW owners don't keep their car for 8 years"; which is very unprofessional as a salesman's answer. My overall experience in Open Road is very uncomfortable & lacks transparency. I'm very disappointed with this kind of service. More
I recently purchased a brand-new 2025 M4 Competition from this dealership, only to encounter a transmission failure after a mere 4000 miles. Despite BMW's refusal to honor the warranty, I'm deeply disappoint this dealership, only to encounter a transmission failure after a mere 4000 miles. Despite BMW's refusal to honor the warranty, I'm deeply disappointed by the reliability of this supposed "performance" car. I am currently in discussions with corporate in hopes of resolving this issue. However, if they do not cover it, I regret to say that I will never purchase another BMW again. My attempts to resolve this with the dealer were met with discourtesy. The service manager rudely informed me that there was nothing he could do and that I was on my own. The sales manager was equally unhelpful, offering little more than a dismissive apology. As a loyal customer who has spent over $185,000 at this dealership in the last two years alone, I find their lack of desire to assist me in resolving this issue shameful. I am now considering refinancing my loan with a different lender and severing ties with BMW entirely. Such a disappointing experience has left me with no desire to continue my association with the brand. More
I’ve used Open Road of Edison to purchase my previous 2 vehicles. They have always provided exemplary service. I specifically would like to recognize my sales rep, Michael Simone. He’s always been profe vehicles. They have always provided exemplary service. I specifically would like to recognize my sales rep, Michael Simone. He’s always been professional, knowledgeable, caring and continues to go above and beyond. Our interactions have mirrored more of a friendship, as opposed to sales rep vs customer. True partnership. Michael should be recognized for a job well done. Thank you Michael & Open Road…love the car! James C. More
