If you get one of those "Giveaway Event Mailers" in the mail, understand that the numbers in the combination box mean NOTHING. You DID NOT win the prize in the combination box. There is a second number they only check at the dealership that determines what you won. (I won a $25 gift card, after driving all the way there.) In my opinion, this is professional malpractice. I believe they are intentionally misleading people. The fine print appears intentionally confusing, so it can be understood multiple ways. I thought the winning number was just a verification code for the number in the combination box. In my opinion, this company should have a class action lawsuit brought against them. If you know an attorney that wants to take on a big business on behalf of at least 150,000 people, I want to talk to them. More
This is the worst place EVER! ! Do not take your car here! I’ve never had such a bad experience than this. Took my car here because I thought they would be quick and easy. They had ! They had my car for three weeks and didn’t even let me know it was going to be that long. Whenever I called I would just get sent to voicemail or they would say they would have someone call me back and no one ever would. Over half the bill was the service fee!!! When I picked up my car a new problem started and my car was making a noise it never did before. I called no answer. Called again they said someone would call me back. No one called. Eventually I was able to get with the manager and he said they would get it fixed at no cost. Pick it up after they say it’s fixed. It’s not. I take it back to the place. They say it’s fixed. My car is still making the sound that it never made before I dropped it off the first time. I dropped it off again and still not fixed. I asked if I could please at least get a rental car. I have three jobs and live 25 minutes away from the service he refused and continued to talk over me when you could clearly hear I was frustrated. DO NOT EVER GO HERE! THE WORST SERVICE PLACE THEY WILL ROB YOU! More
Said my fuel pump was bad , had a suspicion it was a wire issue. They replaced a fuel pump , cleaned the fuel system. They never called to update me. I had to call them. Took it to a friend of mines mechanic and sure enough it was a wire that needed repaired. The service dept. Can't troubleshoot. 1,900.00 shot. Down the drain. Do not take your vehicle for service. Had appointment for 7 am on Friday. No service performed Friday. Called Saturday to see if it would be done and no sorry. I asked if they worked on any cars since Friday morning. He responded oh yes ma’am. I asked why not mine if I had the first appointment. He was silent for an awkward amount of time. I asked to speak to the service manager. He was unavailable at that time. The service manager called back about an hour later telling me my car was ready. The only explanation I was offered was we were short techs. I get that but why do I have to be without a car for 4 days when I had an appointment? Nobody seems to have an answer for that. It should not take talking to the manager to get service when I had an appointment 4 days earlier. No excuse for such poor service! Not sure they really cared. Working people don’t have time off work to sit in the waiting area to have their car serviced. People who have flexible schedules often choose to leave their car rather than wait. Nobody wants to just sit and wait for hours. When we leave our cat we expect service the same as if we were sitting there. Make sure if you use Opelika Ford you tell them what time you need your vehicle. You may want to call a couple of times to be sure they are working in your car. Opelika Ford is supposed to have the best service department in our area. If this is the best I’m concerned about the other dealerships around. They know we are at their mercy but it sure would be nice to respect customers and their time. More

Had made an appointment this morning for the recall on my 2020 Ford Mustang on the brake issue. Dropped it off and at 3:30 today the service dept called and asked if the could keep it over the weekend and tr 2020 Ford Mustang on the brake issue. I told her I didn’t want it left outside. She said well you be out of line if you take it home. Well when my husband came home he wasn’t happy. We went to pick it up and he asked whoever was at the desk for the keys and my husband told the guy apparently you can’t get to my car even though we had an appt! The guy said “I’m sorry” Got to my car and it was unlocked sitting in the parking lot, which upset me. Called our very nice salesman who we purchased it from and let him know how his company treats his customers. We are going to another Ford Dealership in the next town. Apparently if you have a recall the tech doesn’t make any money so if something else comes in that they can make money on, you go to the back of the line!!! More
