This is our 3rd purchase from Martin Nissan in Skokie, IL. I first came to Martin Nissan because of a bad experience with Star Nissan who is also located in Skokie, IL. The high pressure sales tricks and lack of friendliness was their down fall. Our last purchase from Martin Nissan was a 2009 Nissan Murano SL AWD. It was a great experience from the start. I was referred to Joe Zich from Wayne the service manager who took care of me from the beginning with my 2003 Nissan 350Z. My wife and I were super happy with the service and the no hassle price we agreed on in the end. What I also like is that everyone treats me like I just bought a $100,000 car from their dealership. Most of them even remember my name when I come in for an oil change months later. A few weeks ago we purchased a 2011 Nissan Maxima SV Sport that replaced my 2007 BMW 335I. Even though BMW has 4 years of free maintenance and a free loaner car I was never treated as well as Martin Nissan has treated me. Don't get me wrong, the free maintenance is great but making you feel great about your purchase and not second guessing what you just bought is even better to me. The thing that stood out the most on this last purchase was what they did to get the car I wanted. I wanted a white on black SV Sports package Maxima SV. At first they thought it would be no problem. But they soon found out it was harder than they thought. It turned out that a dealer in MI about 280 miles from Skokie, IL had one. They normally trade a car for another car and only one worker needs to drive out there and trade car for car, but this dealer didn't want another car and wanted Martin Nissan to buy the car outright. The main problem was Martin needed two workers to drive out there and drive both cars back. To make matters worse there was a snow storm in IN and MI on the way back to IL. This is where I would also like to give a huge thanks to my sales person, Kyle Maxwell, who was one of the people who went out of his way to get me the car I wanted in record time. I would recommend him for your next car or truck purchase. So if you are in the Chicago land area and would like a low pressure professional Nissan dealer please do your self a favor and visit Martin Nissan in Skokie IL. I would say that it was a great dealrship I have been to. I was in one of the other Nissan's dealerships before and I felt discriminated. I was a 22 female at the time of the purchase, which made men think I I was in one of the other Nissan's dealerships before and I felt discriminated. Both Joe and Maggie did a wonderful job with listening to my needs while helping me to choose the car. I was not comfertable with English at the time and Maggie was wonderful with traslating everything to my native language. I felt very happy with the choice I have made as I purchased my car the same day. It has been 3 years from that day and I am an extremly happy customer. Martin Nissan not only has the best salepeople in the area, that are willing to work with the customer but their service is one of the best as well. We visited the Martin Nissan Dealership on New Years Eve just to look at vehicles. Previously we visited all other Nissan Dealerships in the Chicagoland area and had the worst experiences ever. We first were greeted Joe Zich, he was friendly, genuine, and non-judgemental. (not your cheesy salesman). Realize we were there at 4pm on NYE. We were not rushed, they took there time, showed us, answered questions. It was probably after 5pm until we realized we wanted to buy. They made us a great deal on a new vehicle. We didn't get out until after 6pm. They were amazing! We were never rushed!!! We visit the dealership to get oil changes and its like visiting family and friends. Everyone from sales to service we have encountered has treated us like royalty. More
