Beware of Hidden Fees and Shifting Numbers My recent experience buying a used car from this dealership left me deeply disappointed. What looked like a straightforward deal turned into a frustrating less experience buying a used car from this dealership left me deeply disappointed. What looked like a straightforward deal turned into a frustrating lesson in why you need to scrutinize every line on the paperwork. Several charges were added that didn’t make sense, including a “tariff adjustment” and “transportation service fee” that added thousands to the price. These were never clearly explained and felt completely unnecessary. On the trade-in side, they initially undervalued my vehicle by nearly $4,000 compared to CarMax. Only after I pushed back did they agree to match the offer. Even then, the worksheets they presented had repeated errors: the sales tax was calculated incorrectly, and the trade-in credit wasn’t applied properly. The most concerning part came later. When reviewing the final signed documents, I found that my trade-in value had been reduced by $1,000 without my knowledge. The total I paid didn’t change, but they manipulated the numbers in the background — something I was not informed of during the process. This kind of practice doesn’t feel like an honest mistake. It feels like intentional misrepresentation. For a purchase as significant as a car, I expected professionalism and transparency. Instead, I walked away questioning the integrity of the entire process. If you’re considering buying here, I strongly recommend reviewing every worksheet, verifying all calculations, and not accepting vague fees. Don’t rely on verbal assurances — make sure everything is spelled out in writing before signing. After leaving my first review, the dealership responded publicly and encouraged me to reach out to resolve the issue. I did reach out, but they never responded to me directly. That makes their “we care about transparency” response feel more like damage control than a genuine attempt to fix the problem. More

What an experience. Where do I start? I saw a used car online last Saturday night and requested more information. The button I clicked was bright green and right under t Where do I start? I saw a used car online last Saturday night and requested more information. The button I clicked was bright green and right under the price which read "Get ePrice". Monday morning, a lady called me saying she was new, didn't know the "ePrice" but would be happy to schedule an appointment for me to come in and they would "probably be able to sharpen the pencil in person". Clearly nothing promised, but nonetheless, I was interested in the car. I pulled up exactly at the scheduled time. One would think the purpose of the appointment would be to at least have the car ready. Not so much. The salesman showed me the car and seemed quite versed with the functionality which was nice considering it wasn't a Nissan (and earned a bonus star in my review... who gives a 2 star review, right?). My wife and 2 children were waiting in the car in the lot once I got back from the test drive. They all checked out the car, we even tested it to make sure the car seats fit properly. I came prepared with approved financing (willing to use theirs if necessary) and was pretty sure I was taking this car home. Here come the numbers. Sale price, tax, title and doc fee, was $30,516 (but wait! there's more!) adding the "service and transportation fee" ($3,295), the car was $33,811. Three-thousand-two-hundred-ninety-five dollar fee on a $27k car. I was literally speechless. I asked about the "ePrice" and the salesman admitted he didn't know what that was. I was prepared to offer a $500 discount (the CARFAX suggested price) yet we were almost $4,000 away! The salesman brought numbers to his sales manager twice, and the second time suggested we were just too far apart (he wasn't exactly wrong). I asked "does he care to come out here and talk about it"? Out walks Eric. I felt like I was interrupting him in the middle of something - he couldn't seem less excited to talk to me or negotiate a car deal. I asked about the "Get ePrice" button and he told me that there isn't a better price, it's just how they book appointments. Perfect. He wasn't the sales manager who the salesman was taking my offer to, so he was unaware of the situation and I had to repeat my whole story to him again. Miraculously, Eric "found" a discount, and spun his phone around to show me the result of his new calculation which was somewhere in between but really not close. I would've bought this car at full price, but not with a $3,295 fee. I never saw anything about that fee disclosed on their site, when I mentioned that, no one was able to show it to me. Most reasonable people wouldn't expect "plus taxes and fees" to mean anything aside from what it's always meant when buying a vehicle. The disclosure on CarGurus would suggest this pricing is totally dishonest (see attached). Oh well. At least I was able to laugh about it on the hour drive back home. All that for 2 hours at a dealership and a free bottle of water. Lessons learned: 1. The "Get ePrice" button is just there for funsies - there literally is no ePrice. 2. There are people who have the ability to add a fee of $3,295 (12% of the sale price) while keeping a straight face. 3. If this isn't a "bait and switch" then I'm not sure what is. More

I called twice before the flight to talk with two different people to confirm that that would be the price without any games. It was confirmed that the price was the price and it wasn’t contingent on any financing or any other offers. When I got there they added over $16,000 in fees and add ons to bring the total to over $41,000. When I told them about calling and talking to them of course that is handled by an outside department and they had never heard of the people I mentioned that I had talked to. I had worked them back down to $26,500, but they wouldn’t budge off of that. I told the salesman that I was done and leaving after talking to the manager twice at that point. He wanted to talk to the manager once more so I just walked out. Don’t believe the price you see online and don’t waste your time dealing with these people. I went to a different dealer and bought the same car, which had less miles and in better condition, for a better price. More
Among the worst places to buy a car. I was interested in a Taycan or Lucid - fairly high end cars. They had them advertised at a good price. Went to test drive the Taycan, and found out I was interested in a Taycan or Lucid - fairly high end cars. They had them advertised at a good price. Went to test drive the Taycan, and found out the whole front end is repainted poorly, with a different white color (btw, car is listed as "no accident"). When I asked what happened, salesman just shrugged his shoulder and said "I dunno" and walked away. Finally another guy (not a sales guy, but the guy who lists cars online) came to help us out. Sales guy didn't come back. On to the Lucid ... tried to drive it, it had a flat. Btw, it's advertised as checked and cleaned etc. Then we waited for an hour while they tried to fix it, managers asked us to wait, etc.. They couldn't fix it, we left while managers shook our hands, promised to fix the car, and call us in for a test drive. Got 3 phone calls that week asking me when I'd come in, but no one could tell me if the flat was fixed for a test drive - they all said they'd check and call me back, but of course no one did. I finally called them a week later, they do some shuffling around for a bit, and someone finally told me it's fixed and ready for a test drive. I go up there (an hour away), and tried to test drive it, and the car had an operating system critical error on the dash and would barely move. Mind you, this is a car that they've supposedly extensively QA-ed for sale, and QA-ed again for my test drive. I still tried to test drive it, hoping the error would go away, as I've now wasted two half days on this car. It wouldn't drive, the car wouldn't go over 15 or so mph. I asked the same salesman what he thought was going on, and he shrugged his shoulders, quipped - "I don't know, I'm not a mechanic" and went back to his phone texting. This place is an absolute waste of time. I have ended up shopping at multiple dealerships in the city and finally buying a Taycan from another one. This place was a standout in how bad it was - from the cars to the salesperson to the manager's follow up. Most other dealerships in the city have been pleasant and professional. More
