My experience with Olathe Toyota was very mixed. Ken the sales person I dealt with, his product knowledge was off, which ended up costing me another $200 on top of what I paid. Before the sale was final though I tried to step back and look at another FRS, then wanted to think about it, but was basically told "No, you are too far through the process to turn back now". Which I have learned after the fact, I was not. But nothing can be done now. Live and Learn. I tried to work with the sales manager on this, but got nothing. Felt like I was being looked down at the whole time. Also their delivery manager, I believe her name was KIM NIGH, needed better product knowledge as well. I was basically told I was getting the most recent system available for my scion, which in fact I was not. On top of that I was not told that my device was not fully compatible with the system that came with the car. It was the BeSpoke system from last year, which is only compatible for FULL functionality with TWO devices. I mean that isn't hard to remember, and those two are the IPhone 4 & 4S, no not the 5 too. In the process of getting the new system ordered and installed I had an appointment to get, this system I thought had arrived installed. I got there to find out the part hasn't come in. Keep in mind Olathe Toyota is about 20-30 miles from where I live, so not a convenient commute. Then once the part arrives I take it in and am told it will be done the same day. NOPE! Three days it took, also was never contacted either of those days while waiting, saying I would have to wait another day. I had to phone in, and believe me I gave them a chance to call by waiting to call around close to get the information. And with all of this, I was helped by being able to pay the difference for my BeSpoke for the new system, however this really isn't help considering if the upgrade were done at signing if I had known, I would have only had to pay the difference anyways... Just another person in their eye they successfully made happy and sold a car to. Which in fact is no, I am not really happy at all, but still have a car I may or may not have wanted if actually was told the truth. I mean I originally went in for a SCION 10 SERIES but was given the runaround.The experience at this dealership ruined the excitement of the car, I will probably never work with scion/toyota again because I was lied to so many times, even if it wasn't intended, and wasn't EVER really helped out in the end. ****EDIT 08/27/2013: They contacted me on AUGUST 21ST offering to try and fix the situation, the call was from KIM NIGH. I was in the middle of a meeting and was not able to finish the conversation, and informed her that I would get a hold of her either later in the day, or the following day. Since my conversation with her I have not been able to get a hold of her, and have tried multiple days. Calling her extension and the dealership in general, no luck. I even left a couple messages. The experience with this dealership was terrible. My mother and her husband actually bought a FRS and a Camery because I got my car. The difference is they bought theirs in Florida where they live, and from their story, they were actually treated nicely, and were actaually helped. The FRS they bought had aftermarket Rims and Tires, and was still CHEAPER than the one I purchased. Apparently Olathe Toyota and Scion are very over priced too I will be contacting the Scion Customer Experience to know how amazing (sarcasm) it was to work with Olathe Toyota and Scion. My experience may be unique to this dealership, but why take a chance in going through what I did. Go to another Toyota/Scion dealer in the area, there are plenty more. More
I am purchasing my third Toyota from Kenny Thomas Olathe Toyota. Our salesman Leroy Giles was the best salesman I have ever worked with. She picking the Sienna Limited. The process from lot to our ownership was painless, Leroy walked us through the first part of the paperwork and we were in and out of the final sales office way faster than I expected! Once we were at this point a wonderful gentleman helped us set up our phones in the van to work over Bluetooth. He showed us every option this van had until we felt comfortable using it. This was unexpected to us, but very, very welcome. We learned a lot during this stage! We had a great experience at Kenny Thomas Olathe Toyota! More

Olathe Toyota's Service Department is by far--and I really mean---BY FAR better than any other dealership in the Kansas City metro area! My husband and I were so pleased with Olathe Toyota, that, when it was time to buy a new car, we knew we wanted to buy it here! I ran into Johannes Alberty while I was getting my old car serviced. He really impressed me. He was so nice, and so knowledgeable, that my husband and I ended up buying two new cars! The people here are really committed to making your experience a good one. From Johannes, who is just terrific, to the outstanding service department, to Chris in finance, to Kim, who showed me how to use the technology in my new car......These people are just great! I can't give this dealership and these people a high enough recommendation. More
