worst I have ever experienced I just moved into town and was having transmission problems so I took my 05 Dodge Dakota to have it checked on ,this was my only vehicle . they charge I just moved into town and was having transmission problems so I took my 05 Dodge Dakota to have it checked on ,this was my only vehicle . they charged me $286 just to look at the trans. I asked for a loaner to do use while waiting and they said NO I had to rent one for the 2 hour wait another $60 then they quoted me the NEW trans. $4500 they would not rebuild my trans it had to be a new one. I gave them 1 more chance called to get a new key and they said it would be $260 and I had to leave the truck so they could program the key. NO one ever use this company unless you want to lose you money . by the way I got a new trans. installed at amco for only $2500 with a 2 year warranty . and battery plus fixed my key for $20 . Never Never again More
SERVICE EXCELLENCE HERE - Don't go anywhere else!! I'm from Chicago, and used to excellent dealerships. Olathe is the ONLY one in the KC area that performs. My Jeep is my livelihood! They get it! I'm from Chicago, and used to excellent dealerships. Olathe is the ONLY one in the KC area that performs. My Jeep is my livelihood! They get it! Honesty and integrity are what matters most and getting work completed on time at a trusted dealership is worth the extra drive for me. I pass two other dealerships on the way to Olathe, from Leawood. That should speak volumes. Noises, electronics, brakes, systems, they really know what they are doing. Here's the best - if they make a mistake, they OWN it! Special thanks to Mike Moutray for all of the above. More

TAKE YOUR BUSINESS WHERE THEY CARE ABOUT YOU Sadly, there should be an option for NEGATIVE STARS in our case. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION'S SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Our BRAND NEW 2017 Dodge Jour Sadly, there should be an option for NEGATIVE STARS in our case. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION'S SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Our BRAND NEW 2017 Dodge Journey stopped working within 3 months of purchasing and we had to have it towed to dealership. Luckily, we have warranty so that gave us piece of mind. Got a call back today from service department and were advised that the wiring harness to the fuel injector was chewed up. My husband asked how such a thing happens and the response was RODENTS! We ask why are rodents chewing on this? We are informed many of the parts are soy based and rodents are attracted to them. Better yet, we are informed this is an ACT of GOD and not covered under warranty. Upon researching this we find that manufacturers are aware of this and 2 major makers have class action lawsuits against them because of the issues of rodents chewing into wiring, etc. So, then why are these parts still being made and placed in vehicles knowing this??? My husband was transferred several times and when her finally talked to MIKE, the service manager, he could care less and said that he would not get reimbursed if he fixed under warranty. From reading other reviews in multiple places MIKE is less than desirable to work with. Looks like we will be contacting our lawyers and I will review Mike on every website to let people know MIKE, DODGE and this location do not stand by any type of satisfaction. SHAME ON YOU DODGE. I was planning on buying a new Charger this year as well but definitely will not now knowing the service department, specifically MIKE SUCKS! Only positive is Travell that we purchased car from. He was good to work with but the service department is full of xxx employees. More
Kinda depends on the day. Be aware, be very aware. My husband owned (and my son now drives) a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan and I have a 2009 Dodge Challenger. We have always brought the cars to the express service for oil change, though I don't think we're likely to continue that. Before the van was handed down, my son was driving his grandmothers old Chevy Lumina which we would also bring there. They do this great thing where they sell you 4 oil changes up front payment, just use until you're out of them You sign, but you have ZERO time to read and are not told that they are not transferable. The lumina was totaled when my son was rear-ended and they refused to switch the oil changes to one of the other vehicles (yes, they alienated me for $50). I didn't even want a refund, just wanted to get to use what I paid for since the car is question was gone through no fault of ours. In addition, twice while getting the oil for the Challenger changed, there has been blatantly false information on the inspection sheet. Once they said my spare had adequate tread and pressure, I don't have a spare. This last time, they told me all my tire tread depths were at half. Umm, no, I had, one week before, been forced to replace a tire that was punctured and not fixable. The tread on that tire could not have been at half. Once one piece of information on that sheet is a lie, I picture the tech sitting in the breakroom filling it out. Not everyone who comes there for an oil change is an idiot. As for the normal service department, I have had my Challenger in there twice for recall work for the airbag inflators; first the driver's side then the passenger's. On the driver's side, after I got my notice in the mail, I called to make and appointment and got a call back that they didn't have the parts. No problem, we rescheduled. The next appointment time came and I dropped my car off, told the service advisor why I was there and 10 minutes after I left got a call that they didn't have the parts. I had taken the day off to be there. So it took another month for the parts to come in and no one called me (despite a promise to) and I found out simply because I called again. Then when I asked for a loaner because I would need to go to work, they acted like I was putting them out. When I got the notice for the passenger side, I called to make my appointment and I asked, are the parts available. I kid you not, the woman told me, those notices don't go out until we have parts. Oh, really? No. So, I was going out of town and dropped my car off on a Tuesday, told them I'd pick it up on Saturday, so they had time. When I got there on Saturday they couldn't find my paperwork and I knew the service had been completed based on an email I got on Friday. When they finally found it and the porter brought my car up, as I walked to get into it, the hood wan't completely closed. Umm...why? We recently bought my husband a new vehicle after my son's car was totaled and though we looked at a Dodge, we did not buy one. The lack of vehicle knowledge of the salesperson we encountered here in Olathe and the complete lack of anyone even offering to help us in Overland Park drove us to another brand. I love my challenger, but I am not loving Dodge. More
Multiple mistakes I went to this dealership to have my Jeep repaired after an accident in which I was not at fault. When I went to pick my jeep up, I first noticed ther I went to this dealership to have my Jeep repaired after an accident in which I was not at fault. When I went to pick my jeep up, I first noticed there was paint on the interior leather which had to be removed with special chemicals by one of the techs. As I was waiting for this to be completed, I noticed the rear taillight had not been replaced and was still scuffed from the accident although the work order stated it had been replaced. When I asked about this, after much confusion, they informed me they had forgotten to order that part. They said they would call when it came in and replace it right away. When I got home, my husband also noticed they had cracked the plastic frame of one of the windows and there was also a paint run and missing paint on the rear bumper. We called about these issues in addition to the taillight that was not replaced and were told it would all be fixed when the parts came in. We took the jeep back a 2nd time for these repairs to be made and were issued a rental truck. The rental employee kept mentioning entering in our claim number from the accident to cover the rental. i spoke up several times stating that this rental was required due to the shop's mistake - therefore should not be filed with insurance. They once again seemed confused but stated they would sort it out with their boss in the morning. The next morning I received a call from insurance wanting to know why another claim for a rental had been filed when I had already returned the original rental (the first time they stated the original work was completed). I explained the whole situation to them and they agreed, the shop should cover the cost of the 2nd rental. Later in the afternoon, my husband picked up the jeep, looked over the damage that had been done by the shop during repairs, but overlooked the taillight (the original reason for returning the jeep). When he returned home and walked behind the vehicle, he noticed the original damaged taillight was still on the jeep. He called to discuss the concern with Corbin Hofstetter who stated it had been replaced and would need to see the vehicle (us driving here a 3rd time!). My husband explained that we live 30 minutes away and requested that the part be mailed to us or a refund be issued for the work that hadn't been done. Corbin then put him on hold to speak to the tech and informed us the new taillight was in the back of the jeep - uninstalled. My husband decided at this point to install the new taillight himself. All in all, we spent a total of 4.5 hours driving to and from this dealership and still ended up with the original problem unresolved. We still can't figure out why the tech would've just tossed the new taillight into the back of the jeep without installing it. More

I just recently went in just for my oil change, and walked out happier than ever in a new Jeep Grand Cherokee all because of how helpful Donnie Latimer was to us! I had no idea I could be this happy with my new car and my experience altogether! The manager, Don worked me immensely on helping me to get into this wonderful new vehicle. We had bought our jeep from another dealership in Gladstone and when we did we also purchased and oil change package with. When I arrived at Olathe Dodge they informed me that the dealership had sold me the wrong oil change package. But instead of making me handle the problem on my own Rocky took time out of his own day to call the dealership and get it worked out. He got my oil change done quickly and efficiently. I was so impressed by the level of customer service in friendliness that I won't be taking my jeep anywhere else. I highly recommend Olathe Dodge to anyone looking for quality service. More
