After being in a horrible and downright scary/frustrating accident, Olathe DCJR’s Service Department was the silver lining to my whole chaotic ordeal! They dang near made me forget about all of the stress entirely! Amazing work!!! Jesse was phenomenal to deal with, and I was constantly being updated on the status of my Jeep and the repairs that were being done. I never once felt out of the loop. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to work on any of my cars. Thanks so much again, Olathe Dodge!! A super great dealer with the absolute best customer service around! More
Apparently, there was a miscommunication between the service and parts department. I was told my car needed a new water pump on Friday. They had to order the part and was told it would be in on Monday o service and parts department. I was told my car needed a new water pump on Friday. They had to order the part and was told it would be in on Monday or Tuesday. The service rep told me he would give me a call when it came in and would get my car in that day. However, come Wednesday I hadn't heard anything, so I called in. They guy said the part was in and the earliest they could get me in was next Monday. After some pushed back on Monday, they were able to schedule me for the next day. I asked when the part came in and he said Monday. I was frustrated hearing this, since I've been without a vehicle since the Friday that I had brought my car in. After scheduling an appointment, the original service rep called and said no one had told he the part was in. This was my worst service experience at ODJ. More

I had arrived for my 10:30 oil change on time and expected to be on my way quickly. However, at 12:39, when it was FAR over the expected time, I was giving grace just in case the service area was busy, I asked if my car was finished. The cashier had to hunt through the tickets to find my car. It had been done for over 20 minutes. NO ONE had called my name or notified me it was completed. My keys were also not with the paperwork. In addition, this was my first free oil change after the purchase of my car in May. My paperwork did not reflect that. It reflected the full price. I drove 3 hours to Olathe because I had just a good experience with my purchase and was expecting the service to be just as excellent. It was not. An oil change shouldn't take 2 hours. Especially when it's an express appointment. And if it does, it should include an inspection sheet, a car wash with a vacuum, a narrated video, something to justify the time. This did not. I got a three hour drive to the service center, a two hour wait and car that was still dirty. I will not be back to this service department and will reconsider purchasing from the dealership again. I very rarely get upset about things taking longer than expected, or not being as expected, and this is one of the rare times I am upset. This was a subpar experience. I am very disappointed in Olathe Jeep Dodge. I live 3 hours away and I would have been more than willing to make the SIX hour round trip for required services if I had had a good experience. That won't happen after this. Fix your processes so that this doesn't happen to someone else. I would have probably been less annoyed if the time had been communicated, or if I had been notified my car was ready, or if the price was reflected correctly. It was just rude to leave me waiting. This whole experience was disappointing. More

I scheduled my appointment for tire rotation and balance, and an oil change. I only got my tires rotated and the oil change so I had to schedule the balance somewhere else. Also, last time I got service ther and an oil change. I only got my tires rotated and the oil change so I had to schedule the balance somewhere else. Also, last time I got service there they checked all of the fluid levels and as far as I can tell this time they didn't. The person who I had to deal with was very rude the day I was there and seemed like he was inconvenienced by my questions. More

Even though I made appointments for both my service calls, I had to wait behind others who didn’t. My 1st visit was excruciatingly long and I was told 3 times it would only be 20 more minutes until my calls, I had to wait behind others who didn’t. My 1st visit was excruciatingly long and I was told 3 times it would only be 20 more minutes until my vehicle was ready. 4 hours later it still wasn’t done. When I finally got my truck back, and went to pay my $2,500 repair, they wanted to charge me 3% more for using a credit card. The part they had to order came in but no one called to schedule an appointment as they promised. I had to call in, go through 3 people, to finally learn the part had come in a few days before. After all this, when I was finally done, they had the nerve to ask me for a good review. I probably would have said nothing if not for that ludicrous request. More
I went in for an oil change in the beginning of June. I informed the technician I had a trip coming up in July, that I would be driving. Also, I wanted them to look at a squeaking sound from the back pa I informed the technician I had a trip coming up in July, that I would be driving. Also, I wanted them to look at a squeaking sound from the back passenger wheel that the tech did go on a ride with me and did hear it. After having it for five days. It was determined it was a heat shield that came loose. I got my jeep back. The next day I heard the squeaking again I brought it back immediately but they only had openings a week before my trip. After having it for six days. They could not determine the sound. Two days before my trip, I was told it was my sunglasses in my sunglasses holder above the windshield. I said that is wrong. I wear them when I drive. At that point, not having my jeep for another six days. I said I wanted my Jeep back. I will live with the squeaking sound then I was told that my front control arms were needing to be replaced. It was a safety issue $2500. I declined. This was 2 days before my trip. So after the technician test drove it multiple times trying to determine the squeaking sound, 2 days before my trip I’m told it was unsafe to drive! Got my Jeep back went to Burnett Auto, and got a second opinion, they showed me underneath my Jeep that my front control arms were in perfect working order looking brand new no need for replacement. This is illegal claiming false work needing to be done. This is a 2021 Jeep Cherokee only had 27,000 miles on it. I will go to another dealership in the future. More
