I was dreading taking my car in for an oil change. This was my first experience with OKC Volkswagen and I was blown away! In the past it has taken other dealerships AGES for similar service. After quoting me a time of about two hours, OKC VW completed everything in just over an hour! I was floored! The waiting area was clean and everyone I dealt with was helpful and so nice. No issues at all with their service department. They are friendly, knowledgeable and they go out of their way to ensure you’re satisfied. Update: On 12/16/2020 the transmission bearing on my car started to go, resulting in a mechanic visit where they were able to diagnose and said it wasn't the safest to drive because it would only get worse. started to go, resulting in a mechanic visit where they were able to diagnose and said it wasn't the safest to drive because it would only get worse. I called the dealership because we had a warranty, resulting in a 3.5 wait time for someone to call me back and tell me what to do. I pay almost $300 to have it towed 70 miles to the dealership, to get there and have Brian in service meet with an attitude. I told him what was going on and the whole conversation with him was beyond condescending. Questioning everything I said and said "well maybe your mechanic isnt sure what hes talking about." The only reason my mechanic didn't fix it is because it was under warranty. We did get a rental car from them, which I appreciate but they had to "find" the car when we got there resulting in even more frustration. Then the rental car had no gas, and as we're pulling away our salesmen goes "if you need piece of mind we can get you in a newer car than yours now" Like really? Not the appropriate time. There was nothing about us arriving at the dealership that went well. I was told I was opted in for the service texts, but have not received anything in that regard since the car was dropped off. I asked if I could get an update by 10 am and I was told by Brian that he could that, but he never called. I had to call at 2 pm and get an update. On top of that, I was told my car was going to get a 2nd opinion on Monday, so I waited and finally had to call again around 12 on Monday to ask what was going on. Turns out, they took my car Friday and didn't communicate anything. I asked why nobody called and was met with silence. They are saying they are not getting anything in codes, a bearing wouldn't throw a code. I feel like they are pushing this off to get past the warranty so they don't have to deal with it. I have asked multiple times for the warranty to be emailed to me since it wasn't originally included in my paperwork and still don't have it. At this point I am probably being petty but the sales guy said he took the car to see for himself - if you're not service why are you driving it? This whole process has been so frustrating. We have written documentation with the mileage, date, and diagnoses from our mechanic and are documenting everything. We will be expecting the warranty to be covered when this happens again. I would NEVER use this dealership again and I sure wouldn't recommend it to anyone. My sales guy was great, we were on the same page about the trade in and new vehicle, so I don’t want this review to reflect badly on him, because it shouldn’t. It was the finance guys and everyone after that that, that rubbed me the wrong way. Seemed like nothing but a bunch of frat boys and super pushy on the extra packages. They seemed to care more about the OU game and making some extra bucks than providing customer service that the customer is comfortable with. I honestly think they would have taken advantage of me if my husband wasn’t there to speak up. It was just uncomfortable with everyone after my sales guy. More
