Installing CarPlay I had CarPlay installed in my Mazda-3. I have been waiting for this option since I purchased my Mazda in October 2017. Once it finally became availabl I had CarPlay installed in my Mazda-3. I have been waiting for this option since I purchased my Mazda in October 2017. Once it finally became available and we worked out the costs, I brought my car in and it took about 2 hours to install. Upon leaving, a service rep had me try it out before driving away. It did not connect so he immediately took it back to the garage to fix. It was corrected 30 minutes later and so far it is working quite well. More

Relaxed environment with attentive service Brought my car in for it's 10k mile service and while chatting learned that the Android Auto/Apple Carplay retrofit was available. They accommodated the installation and offered me a shuttle service since it would take a couple of hours. The car was ready earlier than they had estimated, which worked out great. The price for the oil change/tire rotation was reasonable. I marked down on the Price rating only because the price of the retrofit, which is a reflection on Mazda's oversight in this technology and charging for adding a feature that most competitors have had standard for the last few years. Wonderful service! I love dealing with this Mazda service department. Everything is prompt, professional and no pressure. I was in and out in under an hour for a oil c I love dealing with this Mazda service department. Everything is prompt, professional and no pressure. I was in and out in under an hour for a oil change and they rotated my tires with no charge-at the insistence of the service writer since he offered me a coupon to cover the cost. What's not to love? Ignoring safety issues I trusted their multiple points inspection. It showe my brakes were in good condition and no worries, so my family used the car. But after about 3000 I trusted their multiple points inspection. It showe my brakes were in good condition and no worries, so my family used the car. But after about 3000 miles driving in about 3 months, when I went there for the noisy brakes they told me all the brakes pads should be replaced and the noise is due to metal on metal contact (no pad at all). Do they really do the inspection? I don’t think so. Do not trust them. For your family safety go to another dealership. More
