Great experience I went to the dealership after seeing an ad on television. He took my information, I filled out the paperwork,test drove a car and within an hour, I met with the finance department, signed the papers and was on my way. Within the hour. I have an extended warranty above the warranty already assigned.my sales guy was wonderful More
Misleading So I was looking for a vehicle that was more family oriented. I went to like 7 dealers in the area and found myself here. I looked on the lot for a truck and didn't see any but I did see the Honda pilot and the Honda Ridgeline sitting there. I remembered the 3 Hondas I've had in the past and how great they were. I walked into the showroom to ask someone what kind of weight they can haul (thinking an actual honda dealer would know this) and like 3 different people in there were sure they all pulled over 4000lbs. I told the guy I don't even want to look until we are sure they can pull my boat. They assured me it would. Well I bought a pilot and come to find out it only pulls 2000lbs so needles to say, I'm extremely upset about this because it's part of my livlihood . now I'm in the market for a vehicle again after just buying one. Not to mention the price was different than the online price . on top of all this, I asked For some history on the vehicle via car fax or likewise and was told how it's a honda certified and they are very strict as to what makes the certification. They told me it would have no accident history and passed a vigorous inspection and is under waranty still. I trusted this because I seen the certification paperwork.(stupid me). After we signed the paperwork I asked again if I can just get the carfax anyway for my records. They gave it to me and right away I saw on there where it was in an accident last year where it was even disabled and towed. I asked for the accident report and they claim they can't get it. I asked them to contact the previous owner about it and nothing still a week later. I thought this was against the law to be honest. I also complained about a vibration in the transmission near overdrive and they told me this was normal for the pilot and one guy even tried to give me his keys and said he owned one and to drive and see for myself that his does it also. I told him I didn't want to do that, I just want a vehicle that feels good to drive if it's only 2 years old. I went home to look it up online and found it to be a known issue with the vcm engine. I let the dealer know about this and again they said yes, you just have to get used to it. Wow! Never in my life have I heard things like this. I guess honda is not what they used to be. Be very cautious with this dealer. Do a lot of homework before hand because they might mislead you. Very nice people but fake. More

After several emails clarifying the mis-communication, Mike (the manager) kindly enough to see my side and offered me a refund. Overall, I had a good experience and got a good deal, at least to what I valued the car. I thought I was rush and I was also excited driving this new car was my biggest mistake. My suggestion to others, take the time to ask every question and all the time to have them (sales and finance) explain every number they put in your invoice/papers. More
Worst experience every even after purchasing other car and even sending four other people to purchase New Honda's I'm two years. I hate the car buying experience, always! NOT this time. I have never had such a great experience at a car dealership! Anthony was FABULOUS. He was sincere, funny, polite, professional, and helpful. This dealership left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth. I spoke to an internet salesperson for the purchase of a good used Hyundai Genesis they had on the lot. He spoke to his managers and stated that I was $2000 low. I said no thank you. One week later I get a call from this same salesperson and he stated that they had a staff that morning and that they willing to accept my previous offer. I called back a few hours later to finalize the deal and to let them know I would pick up the car the next morning. I could not get a hold of the original salesperson but was later informed by the sales manager that my original offer had been turned down; this was after it had already been agreed upon!!! Do you really want to do business with a company that reneges on its promises? Worst dealership I have come across so far. More
My family purchased a 2008 ACURA TL From Ocean Honda in Port Richey FL. There was some small issues to be handled after the sale that they were to complete, They fixed the tire monitoring system light that was on The chip that was in the driver view on the windshield And after cleaning a car that should've been cleaned myself because of the filth that was still remaining I noticed the turn indicator on the driver side mirror had condensation inside. I called the salesman right away to let him know he said that it would probably a gasket and they would take care of it. In turn they did not take care of it I called the sales manager who made the decision not to fix the car he told me that he can't fix everything. I explained to him that the driver chip in the windshield and the tire pressure monitoring system should've been taken prior to the sale I also purchased a extended warranty and said Why don't we be creative and use the warranty to fix the driver indicator he said well it is not broken so I don't think it can work I said is that where you stand and he said yes that was the end of our conversation. I will never buy another car from Ocean Honda or let anyone that I know by a car from Ocean Honda I suggest you go the other way and do not purchase a car from Ocean Honda. More
It took me a week to realize the seat in my 2013 Civic was unbearable. I tried to trade it back in and was told I had to take a $3k loss and pay full sticker on the replacement. I only wanted them to minimize the profit on the second deal. They could care less about my happiness and want to take every penny they can squeeze out of me. I do not recommend this dealer, and will personally steer clear of Honda all together because of them. More
