Best dealership in RI I started my search for a new vehicle at another RI dealership that was more convenient to my work, but the sales experience there was so disheartenin I started my search for a new vehicle at another RI dealership that was more convenient to my work, but the sales experience there was so disheartening that I ran straight for the exit. Tasca obviously wanted my business and treated me accordingly. Roland was completely understanding with my waffling between two different models and ran all the numbers I needed to make an informed decision. Routine scheduled mantenance on 1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer As a southern Connecticut resident, all I knew about Tasca Ford had to do with the 1963 Ford Country Squire I bought from the elder Bob Tasca in Provi As a southern Connecticut resident, all I knew about Tasca Ford had to do with the 1963 Ford Country Squire I bought from the elder Bob Tasca in Providence over a half century ago. He and I "designed" it at his desk, fitted out with 500 XL package, including bucket seats, a console-mounted automatic floor shifter and a 390 cu in Police Interceptor 4 bbl carburetor. Both Tasca and I figured it had to be one-of-a-kind, and it was. Ford Motor called him the next week to find out if they had read the build sheet right- they had. That memorable experience led me to a new Tasca outlet in southern Rhode Island for routine maintenance. Except it was anything but routine. I was greeted at 7:45 in the morning by not one, but two, cheerful service writers, they transcribed my information from my Registration and asked if they could do anything "above and beyond". Unfortunately, I only needed an oil & filter change and lubrication. My car is a quarter century old, but I was treated as though I had bought the car last week, from them. I was offered fresh hot coffee, newspapers, television coverage and a passing overview of a supremely clean and efficient new age automobile dealership, replete with all sales staff wearing matching business casual attire. My car was returned to me in 36 minutes, having been test driven and I was provided with a Report Card covering a host of vital internal functions. I will definitely find a reason to return to Westerly merely to visit Tasca and go through the same service process again - it is like no other. Thank you, Tasca family - you learned well from your grandfather. Incidentally, the Country Squire he ordered for me is on display at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn.
