Employees are fine, it is the leadership that is horrible! There is no customer service - no courtesy vehicle, leadership did not care that we purchased from Oakes KIA. Oakes what was not my first visit, but it was pleasantly my last. I had been to 2 other Kia dealerships in the Independence/Kansas City metro area. Let me say ... I was not pleased by either & horrified my last. I had been to 2 other Kia dealerships in the Independence/Kansas City metro area. Let me say ... I was not pleased by either & horrified by my last—I walked out. Then I researched Oakes Kia, looked at stock, called & made an appointment. Glad I did! I was greeted by my sales person, Karen Suarez, walked to her desk & got right to work. Told her I was looking for a new Kai Soul, but they had none in stock. I also told her I'd look at newer used Souls. Karen found two that met my needs & we went for test drives. All during the time we were driving she was feeding me information about newer electronic/tech feature of that model, the difference between the 2 models I chose & learned a bit about each other as time passed. At no time did I feel pressured into a sale (even though I DID want to buy a car that day). Karen was warm, friendly, congenial, and well informed about the cars we drove. SHE KNEW HER STUFF! When it came time to decide & make the purchase & get an out the door cash price—the whole team was on top of it! Unlike "other dealers" Oakes Kia made the process as painless & as quick as possible. No mind games. No bait and switch. No "extras" on the invoice I did not already know about. What a breath of fresh air! Karen got ALL my questions & concerns answered & very quickly too. Once all the paperwork was complete, car paid for, and I was ready to go—Karen was kind enough to follow me to Enterprise rental to drop off my rental. She went that extra (hundred) mile(s). The whole team did. AWESOME! I don't know in all my 66 years I've ever had a MORE pleasant car purchasing experience. And That's not just hyperbole. I wasn't rushed. I was well attended to. I got all questions answered. And I ended up with a car that I was quite please with. A huge thank you to Karen Suarez for be so personable, professional, and such fun to work with! I'd highly recommend Karen, Oakes Kia, and the whole team that took care of me during this incredibly painless & productive process. Thank you ... from one very happy customer! More
