I was very impressed with the kind and professional manner in which I was treated by Grey Weyrauch and Tom Taylor from Jack Miller Kia. I had shopped around and found a few cars that I was interested in, checked the dealer inventory on the Kai website and called the dealership. I spoke with Greg, he was very professional, he did not waste my time, and was more interested in what I wanted than what he wanted to sell me. Amazing experience! At the same time I had contacted 2 dealers in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area. This afforded me the opportunity to compare the dealers and salespeople. What a sharp contrast between the 3. I would never go back to either of the 2 in my local area as I felt they did not have my best interest at heart. When asked for their best price I received a quote from one of them for a similar vehicle for approx $6000 more. The Kia with the options I wanted was at Jack Miller in Kansas City. One of the other dealers kept telling me that they had just bought the vehicle with the vin# I wanted and I would be able to pick it up that night. That was an impossibility as the car was sitting in KC. He kept pressuring me to put some money down so they could reserve it for me! Greg made the process simple. I was concerned that the car I wanted was so far away. Greg made this easy for me as he had Tom Taylor meet me half way to deliver the car, on a Sunday! Great service! I have only taken my Kia Soul to the dealership for maintenance since purchasing it in 2011. I have had nothing be great experiences with the staff and technicians at Jack Miller. Being on my third Kia, I was pretty much sold on them until my airbag light came on and I had to take it in for service. Waited 2 weeks, never heard from anyone, so I called them back. They told me the part was in and bring it back. I took it back, waited another 6 hours for them to tell me they couldn't get it fixed. They set me up with a rental vehicle and now, 5 weeks later, I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN MY VEHICLE BACK! They do not call me to keep me updated, I have to call them and only get the run-around when I do. Said they ordered a part that came in damaged and had to re-order it again. Even contacted Kia Consumer Service to be told a District Manager would be contacting me within a couple of days and now it's a week later and still haven't heard from them. I have been in customer service for 35 years and this is the worst I have experienced!!! More
I have bought a used Jeep from them the quality of it was good, but they don't know how dealership and negotiating works. Also, the deal was to get a 1 year oil change but after buying the vehicle they refus good, but they don't know how dealership and negotiating works. Their service dept is incompetent with lousy customer service. On our first visit,we brought our Kia into be serviced on an issue that was under warranty. They thought they fixed it but did not so after waiting for hours we took it home only to bring it back the next day and wait all over again. Their waiting room is uncomfortable and the service took a really long time. They are very aggressive about sending SPAM e-mails once you're their customer but one of them was a pretty good deal for an oil change so we figured we'd give them another chance. We couldn't even get an appt. I called around 8am and was put on hold without even being checked on for 15 min only to be hung up on. So I called back at 12:30 to be put on hold for 10 min at which point I hung up and called back to let them know that they had lost my business. The service manager was rude and did not offer any apologies for the poor customer service only excuses about how busy Mondays are. He even admitted to answering the phone and putting people on hold so he wouldn't have to hear the phone ringing off the hook. Really if Mondays are so busy you can't handle it take a hint and get some additional help instead of losing business - DUH. We'll never give them our business again and would encourage anyone who wants competent and polite service to go elsewhere. More
