I bought a used truck backon Feb 27th, 2020. I love the I bought a used truck back on Feb 27th, 2020. I love the truck and of course when test driving a vehicle you don’t check to make sure every little th I bought a used truck back on Feb 27th, 2020. I love the truck and of course when test driving a vehicle you don’t check to make sure every little thing work, of course you assume it has all be serviced and taken care before displaying on the lot.... wrong. Let’s start with when it came to registering the truck at the DMV, the inspection of the truck expired after its 90 days so I had to step out of line and go to another mechanic to get the inspection done then go back to the DMV again and wait in line again. I called Oakes Kia to speak with my sales rep Kody Forrest to inform her that it expired, I then ask to speak with a manager there and complain that the inspection expired. He apologized and said “please email the receipt to Kody and we will send you a reimbursement check through the mail”.. I email the receipt TWICE to Kody and no response and no check in the mail. Today May 1st and still no check I take my truck in for my oil change and tire replacement. I finally got my check after over two months of ignorance and the fact I had to drive all the way from Grain Vally to get it. Here’s where it gets bad. So when my truck is done being serviced they tell me my rear tires can’t be rotated to the front because they were in such bad shape. Keep notes, the truck is a 2016 and bought it with 25,700 miles on it and now only 28,300 miles. What tires are in that bad of shape being under 30,000 miles? I havnt even had the truck for 3 months. I talked to a new sales manager (I think his name was Joseph and he said he’s been there for 2-3 weeks) and the best they could do for me was to buy the tires at cost and the will install them.... SERIOUSLY?!?!? He also said “when you buy a new car, you buy it as the car sits” I understand that but why are tires in this bad of shape even on the vehicle? I shouldn’t have to buy any tires after only having the truck for only a couple months. Why should I have to pay for tires already? It only has 28,300 miles on it!!! He said that’s the best he can offer me. The tires should have never been on the truck and how did that pass the safety inspection less then 3 months ago?!!!? This is the 2nd vehicle my family and I have purchased from Oakes in the past year and to lose our loyalty over $300 tires. I’ve had the the truck for 2 months and 3 days. I shouldn’t have to pay for tires this soon!! Very poor customer service from management!! I WILL NOT BE BUYING ANYMORE CARS HERE IN THE FUTURE! On a side note Patrick the service rep was the most helpful one there. I feel he knows I should have been treated better. And if it was only him, we would continue our business through Oakes. More

I had a last minute modification to my service appointment and they took care of me without question. Also found a coupon that I could redeem saving me some money which is very tight these days since I have been furloughed. I'm grateful for every little bit! When I left I noticed my interior was vacuumed which was a nice touch. Thanks! More
I was told I was getting a car with features I was asking for and paid a higher amount than what a normal optima was worth. I test drove and coming from a older model kia to a newer it would be smoother and have a more powerful feel in "sport mode" smoke and mirror's as I left the dealership and had a business trip out of state for 2 months to come back after driving a rental kia the same model seemed to be lacking in power lifting the hood to find the engine a dohc 4 banger with a price tag of 32k I called the dealership explaining the problem I had, to be told" we will give you a trade in value but the depreciation is 4k off the lot" and explaining again that I had been told I was getting a GDI engine why I would have to eat the cost if I was misinformed or given the wrong model type. My fault for sitting the the store for the 5 hours sweating 3k deposit in cash out of me before having a final price of 29k plus taxes and the sales person said it included the Gap insurence as I signed the papers the gap being offered for another 1-2k looking for the paper that said gap was included the finance guy saying "I didn't make that deal" my sales rep disappeared nowhere to be found and tried of the hassle fine ill eat it just give me my car... Oakes has gone down in quality of sales reps for at least the Kia dealership The ones at the Mitsubishi seem to be pretty honest. My que should have been when the Kia rep said "I really need a sale I have rent due" should have been the obvious indication that he was not there for me but himself More
