Karen and the crew were excellent to work with! !! Karen went over and above helping us with the vehicle. There was only one key fob with the vehicle and we thought surely there were two since the !! Karen went over and above helping us with the vehicle. There was only one key fob with the vehicle and we thought surely there were two since the owners had the vehicle for nine years. Karen put out the extra effort in trying to find the additional key fob by calling the trade-in customer to see if they had a second key. The trade-in customer told Karen that it had been turned in. Karen talked with the sales person who took the trade in and found the additional key fob. This probably saved us $300 to $400 for a programed key fob plus labor. She didn’t have to make the call to the trade in customer but she put out the extra effort by calling the customer (she didn’t have to, she had already made the sale). This was exceptional customer service and we really appreciated her extra effort! Not to discount the others at Oakes Kia, everyone there they did an excellent job, including the finance and deal negotiations employee (embarrassed I can’t remember his name) but he was very pleasant and helpful and we were extremely pleased with the service we received! The entire staff made our sale enjoyable, and we were a super happy customer. We would strongly recommend Oakes Kia to all our friends and family. Best of luck to all of you in the future!!! The sales team was great. The finance department is where they try to rip you off. They want to sell you expensive packages. Even when we said no, they still insisted on running through all their "deals". The financing through KIA was nice however. But people already know they are going to get ripped off at a car dealership so maybe they should stop doing the service packages that are not an actual good deal. The detail department did ok, the car was prepped very quickly so I guess I cant complain, the rag they used left tiny scratches on the paint. otherwise it was ok. More
