Oakbrook Toyota In Westmont

I may have been scammed, but I'm not sure. After bringing my car in September for the 3rd ToyotaCare check, there were no issues and I was good to go. I had to bring my car in a lil early (Dec) to be get my car in September for the 3rd ToyotaCare check, there were no issues and I was good to go. I had to bring my car in a lil early (Dec) to be get the 4th (and final) check/oil change/etc for n/c, so I did. This time, they pulled the ol' "hey look at this very dirty part (air filter) I pulled off YOUR car! :0 You better replace this for $50". Oddly enough, it was fine/checked just a few months ago and I have ~16,000 miles on my car. I had also driven considerably less between the 3rd and 4th visits. Again, I'm not a car person, so I can't be sure (and I had a raging headache that day and was too exhausted to call the guy out). I won't put it past them that the air filter needed a switcheroo; it's something I would need to have had on my radar in either case for the future. Next time I take my car in anywhere, I'll have to bring a guy with me to be sure lmao. That's the ticket. All the other visits (3 n/c ToyotaCares & some recalls) were all good; no issues. More

I came in to the Toyota Dealership for the" managers special" and also a 27 point inspection service.
