I came to O'Daniel Mazda looking for friendly, patient and informative service and man, was I surprised at the level that I received from the moment that I walked in! While being fairly new to th patient and informative service and man, was I surprised at the level that I received from the moment that I walked in! While being fairly new to the process of purchasing a new / CPO car, I had done a ton of research before I decided to go take a look at their inventory and wasn't expecting the amount of patience given to me as I nit-picked at the small, often overlooked details that are important to me. I came back the next day for a test drive, and was greeted by other friendly personnel who informed me that Matt Tillapaugh (the sales guy I had been talking to) was already bringing around 2 cars I wanted to test. During the test drive, I asked another slew of questions and was given factual and pertinent answers. While not being in the market to buy until another several months, I never felt rushed, pressured, or mislead in any way. I highly recommend Matt, if you are looking for an easy person to talk to and do business with; I can't speak much on the other employees, however, from the overall feel of my visit to O'Daniel Mazda Automart I doubt you would have anything less than a positive and helpful experience with the whole team! I left a message for Heinrich Hilger and he contacted me in a timely manner. After we discussed what our family was looking for he emailed me a list of possible options to consider and then followed up to in a timely manner. Heinrich is very easy to talk to, and tries to give you all of the options that would meet your needs. Finding a good solid used vehicle can be very challenging, but we really appreciate how Heinrich works with us to make the process as easy as possible. Junior Hammond's efforts & activites exceeded expectations expected of a usual sales rep. When I returned after driving the previous night, the service rep. showed me the location of the headlight adjustment screws, he then asked if I had a few minutes, I did, he then drove the car to the rear of the service area & proceed to adjust the lights up slightly which corrected the issue. I believe his name was Shane (?) It's worth noting, I was the was the indirect loan dept. manager & primary buyer for Fort Wayne National Bank for 16 years, then again for STAR Financial Bank, Columbia City for 6 years when I became disabled. I've had more than a little experience with Auto dealers anf their sales efforts. Randy's father must be proud of him. More

From the moment we walked on the lot at ODaniel, we were very pleased, We were greeted by Junior Hammond and it was obvious he understood customer service. After three visits and several test drives, we made our decision. As much as I normally hate the car buying experience, this one was actually enjoyable. I highly recommend ODaniel and Junior Hammond. 1. Junior Hammond was awesome to work with. He allowed me to drive the first Mazda 3 GT that had just been unloaded off the truck... this experience is what convinced me I wanted a Mazda 3. He followed up with me when the model/options vehicle arrived. His non pressure yet very informative personality was definitely not a "sales job". I would characterize it as a relational experience. He engaged my wife in the process, was personal, appropriately humorous and generally very knowledgeable and authentic. I was impressed with the teamwork between he and Todd (mgr) and George(finance mgr.) Junior also went above and beyond to personally detail our car since the service shop was already closed for the day (Saturday). He had even offered to come in on his day off to accommodate my busy schedule so that my wife and I could test drive our car. 2. Todd Jacquay did a great job of getting us the right numbers/deal to make the sale a "no-brainer" He also was low key, and very personal and pleasant to work with. 3. George Brothers kept us engaged with his humor and pleasantries during what could have been a grueling process of completing the morass of financial paperwork. He made sure that we fully understood each step of the process. 4. Sam Moun was kind enough to allow my wife and I test drive the car we bought the day before even though Junior was not working that day. I was concerned about maintaining the integrity of the sales/client relationship... his comment was..."we help each other out here". Obviously there is a strong core value of "team" and customer experience vs. transactional encounters and personal one-up-manship sales. 5. The CAR!!! I was driving a 1997 Mazda B2300 pick up as my main vehicle, more than 600 miles per week the past 2 years... This Mazda 3 is off the charts in my book! Awesome power / tech / looks /comfort... it epitomizes the "zoom zoom zoom" ! Junior and the car was the key to this experience!
