I have only visited the service department at O’Meara Buick GMC. I have brought my vehicle a couple of times for a routine oil change and my experience has always been a good one. Both very polite and courteous. The downside…when calling the service department no one picks up! You either have to keep trying until someone answers or personally drive there to be helped. More

Appointment was scheduled 3 weeks in advance, on day of we’re told that the work cannot be completed. A part we were told is normally in stock wasn’t and would need special ordered, another service that sh we’re told that the work cannot be completed. I brought my truck in for some warranty work and to look at a rough idle concern. After having my vehicle for a couple days they could don’t duplicate the concern which was very obvious in my opinion. Ive h at a rough idle concern. Ive had almost 20 years experience at a reputable car dealership as a lead service technician so I know a thing or two about cars. Since the tech could not duplicate a problem I asked to take a ride with him so I could show him what my concern was. They told me that technicians are no longer allowed to go on test drives because of Covid. This was obviously just an excuse for them to blow me off because they don’t want to work on. After a lengthy conversation trying to get them to make sense of their no ride along policy that makes zero sense, I decide to come pick my vehicle up so I could take it to someone else who was willing to help. The cherry on top was when they tried to charge me $189 for a diagnostic fee on a car that is still under bumper to bumper warranty. They tried holding my truck hostage until I paid the diagnostic fee but after they failed to explain what troubleshooting steps they performed to someone who has experience in the industry, they waived the fee. This was the worst experience I’ve ever encountered at a car dealership. Their customer service is horrible, they don’t lift a finger help you out, they lie and make excuses.
