Ford as a brand and this Ford dealership specifically have HORRIBLE customer service. My 2018 Ford Focus (still under warranty) broke down 3 times between August-November. The first time was engine failu have HORRIBLE customer service. My 2018 Ford Focus (still under warranty) broke down 3 times between August-November. The first time was engine failure after only 3 years of owning my car. It took the dealership a whole month to even be able to look at the car and diagnose it. The car wasn't driveable and I was told there were no rental options available. After the car was diagnosed I fought with Ford for yet another month to get them to honor their warranty and had to provide documentation of oil changes, etc. They ended up covering the replacement and I had my car back within about two weeks (this was late September). After having my car back a couple weeks, it broke down again at the beginning of October. I had no other option but to rent a car from the dealership. I was assured multiple times by my rep Jair that the rental would be reimbursed by Ford, I just had to pay out of pocket and then they would process a refund. I had the rental about a month and then my car was ready for pick up again right after Thanksgiving. I paid about $1305 out of pocket for my rental on 11/28 and the waiting game began for reimbursement (or so I thought). December 8th, my check engine light came on AGAIN and I had my car towed back to O'Meara after less than two weeks of having it back. This time the catalytic converter failed and I was without a car again for a few days. My car is finally back to me after months of issues. This dealership/Ford has given me the runaround for months with little to no communicaton!! They are not understanding at all nor do they care about inconveniencing their customers. I am still waiting on reimbursement for my rental and am only receiving $175 of the $1305 back. Moral of the story, do not buy a Ford unless you want to deal with MAJOR repairs/replacements within a couple of years. You will have to deal with unhonest reps and long wait times and they may even somehow get you to pay out of pocket!! More
