First thing Monday morning I spoke to Joshua Jaeger and we set up a time to meet later that morning. When my wife and I arrived at the dealership Josh had the truck at the front door for us to look over while he made arrangements for a test drive. Josh had us come back inside after the test drive and we started discussing price. Omera Ford has a customer friendly seating area and we were able to get food from the Deli while we negotiated the price. With the guidance of Roger Condon, New Vehicle Manager we were able to come to agreement on the price of the new vehicle as well as a very fair price on the vehicle we traded in. The Finance Advisor, Jorian Spann knew we needed to leave soon to pickup our grand daughter and he rushed to get the paperwork ready so we could get going. Our sincere thanks to Josh, Roger and Jorian for making the auto purchase at Omera Ford a great experience. Bob & Helen More

The staff of Omeara ford are the epitome of all the negative stereotypes associated with used car salesmen. I read something written by a former car salesman and thought it exemplified this place perfectly. “it’s the structure of the entire manufacturer-dealer-buyer relationship and economics that either a) attract the lizard people or b) turn nice people into lizards To have a job at a dealer and to “succeed” aka make money, you have to xxxx over the customer, you have to do it knowingly, and you have to do it with a smile on your face The only people who succeed at dealer were already sycophants, or are deliberately okay with lying and scamming to make more money Anyone who goes into a dealer job with ethics, and decides to keep those ethics, gets chewed up and spit out, or gets relegated and kept to the lowest rungs of the organization, and never makes much money So just keep that in mind any time you go to the dealer for anything. Whether it’s a new purchase, to sell, for repairs, etc. It’s all structured and designed to fleece you. The interactions are garbage because the humans you’re interacting with are incentivized to fleece you. It’s how the business is set up. They don’t have a choice. They fleece you or they fail. They are pawns. I don’t say this to engender sympathy for the employees, but rather to explain why they are facsimiles of real people. They are financially motivated to be that way, and they have no motivation to do a good job at any step of the process that does not directly make them money. Every moment spent helping a customer in some way that’s not closing a sale or selling work done, is a moment wasted That’s why they all blow xxx at the small stuff like titles and paperwork and just remembering who they told what car was available and all the basic customer service stuff”. Bottom line: don’t buy anything from Omera ford unless you’re looking for a painfully difficult and unpleasant buying experience. The people who work here genuinely suck xxx. More
