BUYER BEWARE! ! Stay away from this dealer. I leased a Jeep Wrangler from O’Hara. They set up the lease through Ally Bank. Now that the lease is up I’ve decided t ! Stay away from this dealer. I leased a Jeep Wrangler from O’Hara. They set up the lease through Ally Bank. Now that the lease is up I’ve decided to purchase it at the agreed buyout price in the contract. When I contacted Ally they told me that they are not licensed to sell vehicles in Massachusetts and that I’d have to purchase it through the dealer. When I contacted O’Hara they sent me a “proposal” which added $2000 to the buyout price. I found another dealer who did it for $300. DISHONEST UNSCRUPULOUS NOT TRUSTWORTHY. THE ATTORNEY GENERAL WILL CERTAINLY LOOK INTO THIS. STAY AWAY!!!!! MAY 2023 More

If I could give Ohara Motors negative stars I would. I’ve bought several new cars and this was the absolute worst experience (and as you’ll read I didn’t even get the car!). As a nurse in the community I’ve bought several new cars and this was the absolute worst experience (and as you’ll read I didn’t even get the car!). As a nurse in the community and a Cape Cod native, I always try to shop local and support Cape businesses. I know car dealers can have a bad reputation but never would I have imagined being lied to my face 4 times while my husband and I wasted an entire day. The day before my scheduled appointment time, the sales rep called to confirm my appointment. I told him I was interested in purchasing the new Chrysler Pacifica, I’ve owned 2 prior so I wanted this to be a hassle free process and I was ready to purchase same day. He assured me I could have everything done the same day. When my husband and I arrived we were shown the new Pacifica which I knew would be what I wanted. I declined to take it for a test drive but he insisted we drive it around the area, claiming the car drove differently than my 2017 Pacifica. Reluctantly, we went on a test drive, complete waste of our time as I knew exactly how it would drive. Again, my husband asked if we could drive it home today and he said yes, they could do the financing and registration today. We asked about roof racks and the sales guy said he would check if they came with the car but if they didn’t we could certainly have it added, no problem. When we got back we discussed my trade in and he went back and forth with his manager (you know the part in the car buying process when they go behind closed doors, the manager never actually says anything to you but they make some kind of secret deals). Continuously we were asked about our down payment, which I explained repeatedly it would depend on the interest rate we were eligible for and what the monthly payment would be. Basically if we could have no down payment we would but if needed to put $5k we would do that too. He came back again with numbers requiring us to pick either one down payment or another and giving a range for the monthly payment, again with no interest rate because they hadn’t run the credit. After all this back and forth, the interest rate we were offered was for the 2022 Pacifica. My husband was shocked because the sales guy had told us repeatedly it was a 2023. Turns out the car had been sitting for a year. The advertised price online was $42k but they refused to make any kind of negotiation or deal. They were not willing to budge, okay fine, we were ready to buy and got a bankers check for the taxes/fees/down payment. When we returned, we were told “the finance guy” was gone and they couldn’t run our credit….WHAT?!? We’ve been here for 4 hours and you don’t have a finance guy…two things I cannot stand: liars and people who waste my time and this “dealership” did both! They promised us they were run the credit tomorrow and everything would be 100% when I got out of work and I could pick up the new car the following day. When he called my husband to confirm everything the next morning, he reminded the sale guy about the needed roof racks. Well apparently that wasn’t an option and couldn’t be accommodated. We were then told the General Manager did not want to sell us the car and we could pick up our check. The level of disrespect this dealership gave us is unforgivable. On the bright side, we didn’t spend $42K with them and will gladly take our business elsewhere. However, I plan to make it my mission to inform every person I know about our awful experience with Ohara Motors. This entire crew will lie right to your face for hours and think nothing of it. Buyers BEWARE! More
This was my first time at O'Hara. We drove over 100 miles to check out a specific Jeep Wrangler 4xe. We were very impressed with the vehicle and proceeded with the purchase.
