Awful If I could give them a zero I would. My retired elderly parents bought their vehicle here and paid it off. Then Took the vehicle in for a problem and If I could give them a zero I would. My retired elderly parents bought their vehicle here and paid it off. Then Took the vehicle in for a problem and asked of it was the recall and they said they would check it out it wasnt the recall but they would fix it for 100$ an hour the problem was RIGHT in the codes and it was under warranty. Went to a couple other garages and got parts put in they said was the problen then Brought to another gm dealer and guess what they fixed it in 30 minutes free of charge. they don't know what they are doing and when I spoke to the "higher" up guy about he situation he was rude and arrogant talked over me wouldn't even let me speak. So more 800$ later the car was fixed at another dealership for free. We have had MULTIPLE family memebers buy stuff here because they seemed like a good place to go. Our business will go elsewhere nor will I EVER recommend anyone even look here. They won't fix your vehicle that's under warranty for free and they will try to charge you for other useless xxxx becuase they have no idea how to read a code. This place is a joke. If i was the gm company I wouldn't let them sell my vehicles because they are so terrible and they give gm a bad name. More

I called my saleman ...told him story..He blew me off never call me back...so I drove up 45 mins one way. Found out that it was rail rust from the truck that brought the car to the deal ship,I got it fix after going up 3 times had to use my vacation time to take off from my work or I wouldn't not get paid for it .. I looked at the other white cars there and there was rail rust on them. As I was looking at the cars....of course a sale person come running out....as I started to tell my story... he just started walking away....I was so mad that I called him a chicken xxxx that can't listen to my story. He says he just a sales person. I wish that I looked more into O'connor ....cause I wouldn't bought a car there...never again More

Though I can understand he may have to deal with many mechanical frustrations from customers, I believe this is an expectation for him to handle. An opportunity that could have been resolved with great service was instead left with ultimatums and me without a working vehicle after I have already paid over $2k in repairs. I am disappointed in Jims inability to be able to be customer focused in which left me with a very poor customer experience. I will be warning my entire network about this poor experience. More

Worst experience ever!! I went into O'Connors for the first and last time this past week. I went in looking to try a new Buick crossover. Steve Dumont I had called earlier an I went into O'Connors for the first and last time this past week. I went in looking to try a new Buick crossover. Steve Dumont I had called earlier and he seemed eager to sell me a car. When I got there he was not only cold but rude. I joked about a Cadillac and he said we don't give those away and they are expensive.. Which I knew and he had no idea what my budget was... It was a snarky comment which you don't do in sales the first 5 minutes you meet someone. He insisted on getting my social security number for a pay off. I had been to 3 other dealers and not one had asked me for it. I knew to the dollar what my pay off was. He refused to take my word for it and brought in the manager. The manager right off had a bad attitude and would not even shake my hand. He insisted on the same thing. I told him if I was off on the payment I would take blame for it and I just wanted a price on the SUV it wasn't like we were doing final paperwork. I told him no and they said they could not proceed and I walked out. I never received a call from anyone at that dealership to ask about my experience and I did inform them on social media about it and you think the owner could have taken 5 minutes out of his day to call me or ask why I was unhappy? Nope... So I guess their business is booming enough that the customer doesn't matter. I thought of this is how they treat you SELLING you a car I can only think of how the service must be. I went down to another dealership in Augusta and found a higher end crossover which I love for a great price. They were glad to have my business and I felt like a valued customer. I would not recommend these people to anyone!! Thank goodness I only wasted 10 minutes of my day here.. Never again..Bad, bad business!!! I will warn all the people I know about this place. Their rating on here speaks volumes. More

I was told by Burnt by O’Connor Chevrolet Last Monday I contacted O’Connor Chevrolet in Augusta Maine inquiring to purchase a new Chevy Avalanche. I was told by Steve Dumont after he talked to two general managers that since I had to drive so far to get there they would guarantee that they would beat any other offer by $500. After researching the vehicle I wanted, I found two at O’Connor’s: VIN 3GNTKGE7XDG376686 and VIN 3GNTKGE7XDG191571 making a firm offer in writing on Tuesday July 30th. After they ignored my offer I contacted Steve Barnes at Littleton NH Chevrolet. I made an agreement with Steve for either of the same two vehicles for the same price I offered O’Connor. Steve stated it would not be a problem obtaining the swap in time for the end of the month. When O’Connor learned I was purchasing it through Littleton they refused the swap. I was told by another local dealer, Foster Peverly at Cantin Chevrolet that since O’Connor was “working me” they refused the swap and if it was him he would “up the price to retail”. When I discovered this I contacted O’Connor stating I would be happy to buy either vehicle for the agreed upon price, even telling them I would not hold them to the $500 under guaranty they promised. They refused stating they would sell it for $1,743 over the agreed price. The owner of O’Connor, Randy Hutchins refuses to take or return my calls.
