I did this and I also sent some pictures of my trade in.He asked me to come in ,because another person was interested in the truck I wanted to purchase.I left Ladson,S.C. and it took an hour in a half to reach the dealership in Hardeeville.When I arrived he told me the other person put a deposit down on the truck.I told him I drove 150 miles and wanted to see the truck.He asked another sales person to help me.She was nice and showed me the truck.The other guy Richard avoided me completely while my trade in was being appraised.He the came over and told me the other guy was there and they made a deal over the phone.I was upset and told him I wanted my truck back and left.Terrible customer service and liars.Will never think of doing business there again. My sweet 70 year old mom purchased a new ford car from them and it has just stopped working completely three times. Once on the highway which is very dangerous. Every time she took it in they said it was fine and to keep driving it. She could have been killed on that highway incident and other people hurt or killed. They still didn't care Steve Cummin's zero customer service skill he had the attitude of screw you not my problem. They have no interest in making this right so we had to hire a lawyer and they are still fighting us. So don't buy a car from these people if you know whats good for you. More
Ford Customer Service blames customers for vehicle issues. I went to OC welch after I was instructed by Ford Detroit to go there for my rear sliding window on the 2014 FX2. It was a waste of time since Ford D I went to OC welch after I was instructed by Ford Detroit to go there for my rear sliding window on the 2014 FX2. It was a waste of time since Ford Detroit had said no warranty on the window. JC Lewis had informed Detroit that I had caused the issue defog strip damage. The window was changed a month later under warranty for the sliding window seal being falling out and then damaged by the window. My issue with OC is I had front tires wearing on insides and exhaust leaks at manifolds and slip joints. The exhaust leaks, I was told, are normal on these types of connections. I never had leaks on any of my other vehicles in 40 years. Also, the tire issue was caused by me not keeping tires properly inflated and taking turns too fast. This is a load of BS as inside tire wear is caused by front end alignment. OC said alignment was good and I needed to be more careful with turning and servicing my tires. Ford does not provide cam bolts to allow the alignment to be adjusted. Customer has to pay for the bolt kit. When I picked up the truck window sealant was on bed topper and fender (about a 20 inch strip). 3 hours after that discussion, the truck was traded in for a 2015 GMC Sierra SLT. 3000 miles now ot and no issues with it. The traded in 2014 Ford FX2 crew cab with 15k miles rode rough due to tires that would not stay in balance from date of purchase. This was also normal per JC Lewis and Ford Detroit and I was feeling vibes when there was none. More

She is clueless when it comes to customer service skills, and has no idea what she is talking about when it trying to explain what is wrong with your car. Oh and don't ask for the General Manager because apparently he is useless and can't help with anything. I have had to take my car back twice now for the same issue, and when I was told to come pick my car up, it was not parked where I was told it would be, it was hidden around back with the hood left partially open. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALER. Please, heed this warning before you let them service your car!! More

We walked out today with a hybrid car with very little work. They did it all! It takes a lot to run a reliable, honest dealership to make folks come back, feel worthwhile and suggest them. Me and my husband went yesterday to look at the 2005 red mustang that you have for sale. My husband has been talking with Donnie Brown over the past couple of days about it. True it was not a brand new car but that should have not mattered . Cause if is does then maybe you should not sale used vehicles. Anyways we test drove the mustang and we did like until we put in reverse to back it up, it seem to have a slight hesitation in it then it jump into revers . It did that several times. So the sale person that let us look at while Mr. Brown was busy Steven Brown also tried and said the same thing , but said that he would let Donnie deal with cause that was who we was dealing with. Steven even told Donnie about the car and Donnie said warranty would cover. We all know that a 2005 don't have warranty on it so he said he would check it out. he meaning MR. Brown was very RUDE. He want out and drove the car parked in came back in and said that was normal for that to do that. When me and my husband said that was not normal. He told us we don't have to buy the car. I told him he was right we don't to have a good day!!! That OC Welch was not the only car dealership over there. I just thought you would like to know that we were going to buy a car yesterday and we did just not from you and from the rudeness and ATTITUDE of your employees I will tell and have started telling everyone I know that is looking for a car not to go to OC Welch . Sorry but you have a great day also just thought you should know that MIKE MUPHY FORD GOT MY BUSNISESS AND THERE STAFF WAS THE BOMB!!!!!!!!! THIS IS WAS OC Welch RESPONSE!!! I ask if they could fax me a deal sheet,the manger said he would, so he had a saleperson sent me one. on it had an admin. fee of 399.00 wow! I told him i wouldn't pay that;so they discounted that amount. then he told me the right side wheels were scuffed! Ok, so something told me i needed to see this.Well that when it started!! the wheels junk they had chunks out you couldn;t rub without cutting your self!! so they wanted me to buy 2 wheels for 1000.00 Isaid no; then wanted me to pay half, i said NO!! So they replaced them. then we went back to inpection he couldn't open the hood!! wow! finally got it opened, in the trunk we found the old mats ,i told him they needed to be replaced.realy!! the car was NOT CLEANED IN OR OUT! I went home called the manger TOLD HIM I DID NOT WANT TO DEAL WITH THIS SALESMAN!!! So 3 days later i call manger that i was coming to get the car The salesman OFF when i got there he was there!!! WAS I MAD the car was not ready! realy 4hr trip!! needless to say I WAS MADDER SO 2HR LATER!! They bring the car i asked manger if he could put remote start @ cost no he said about 600.00! oh i was hot!! didn't find out anything about workings of car!! DID NOT INSPECT THE CAR!!! BAD BAD BAD!!! inside was not cleaned, the old mats were in THERE WAS A OVER AN INCH LONG SCRATCH ON THE HOOD THEY WANT FIX ALL I CAN SAY BUYER BEWARE!!! WATCH THIS DEALERSHIP !!!!!!!!
